Hanji's POV

I woke up in Levi's bed and immediately panicked. I checked any signs of.... And only when I was absolutely certain nothing had happened the night before, I got up and walked downstairs to the living room. When I entered the room, my attention was caught by none other than my smol bean: Levi. He was sleeping peacefully on the couch, with his hair all sprawled out and lips slightly parted, he looked so cute! Obviously I did not feel romantic feeling towards him, he was like a brother to me and there was no way I could sleep with my brother.

I made myself some toast and chilled on my phone whilst awaiting Levi's awakening. Suddenly, the phone rang and a picture of Kate lit up. I swiped and got up off the couch, making my way outside, not to wake Levi.

"Hello, Kate?"

"Hi Hanji! You won't believe what I had personally just witnessed!!"

"Go on, tell me."

"She moved her hand."

"And? What does that have to do with anything?"

"That means she's fighting and that she's trying to wake up. The doctors make sure to talk to her and keep the door open to let noise into the room. She's on the track to recovery, Hanji. She has a 90% chance of waking up! That's 60% more than a week ago! Her heart is as good as new, all her blood tests are better than ever and her fingers twitch from time to time! You need to inform Levi! I can let you in at 11 am today. Can you make it?"

"Kate... that.. I... omg... Kate we'll be there! I promise! Thank you so much, Kate! I don't know where we'd be without you!"

"Don't worry bout it! See ya later then?"

"Yeah, bye!~"

"Bye!~"

I let my phone drop to my side. She's going to wake up. If I didn't believe it then, I sure as hell believe it now. I need to tell Levi!

I ran back into the room, Levi was sitting up, obviously woken by my loud and energetic voice. "Who was it?" He asked as he tubbed his eyes. "Kate! Levi, you won't believe!" I exclaimed and sat on the second couch. "About her?" Levi's eyes suddenly lit up. I nodded eagerly. "Her hand moved. She moved her hand!" The sparkle drained out of his eye. "What does that matter?" He asked and sulked back into the sofa. "She has a 90% chance of waking up. A week ago it was 40%. This shows you how quickly she's recovering. Her blood tests are the best they've ever been, her heart is as good as new and her limbs twitch every now and then!" I explained and his eyes lit up like a kids in a sweet shop. "We have to go see her!" He exclaimed and rushed to get up. "Oi! I already organised that as well. Kate said that we can visit at 11am. We have like an appointment. Fancy if you ask me." I muttered the last part. Levi scrambled for his phone, which laid safely on the coffee table. He turned it on and his eyes widened. "9:30 am." He muttered. "We'd have to leave at like...10:15, we need to be there early and it takes 30 minutes to get there, also it'll be just after everyone is at school or work to there may be some small traffic....we leave at ten. I'm going to get a quick shower, on the way we're picking up flowers." He ordered and ran upstairs causing me to chuckle. A month. He didn't visit her for a month and she's been asleep for 7 months. I feel bad for her. What if she can hear and one day she stopped hearing his voice. Would she forgive him when she wakes up?

Time skip.

"Levi we have 15 minutes."

"If we buy the red roses, they'll get thrown away and that'd be a shame"

"Just grab them and let's go."

"What if I just buy the daisy-like ones?"

"Great! Let's go!"

"Nah, roses it is."

"Uuuuggggghhhhhh."

"Okay. Okay calm down I'm coming."

Levi payed the lady at the till and eagerly walked- more like strode- to the car. He got into the drivers seat and started the engine with Hanji still being way behind. He tapped the steering wheel impatiently, waiting for Hanji to load some groceries into the back and get in. The second her door closed, Levi his the gas pedal and off they sped to the hospital!!!! (Lol wtf.)

Time skip to 1pm. Let's say they changed the time...? 😂

3rd person POV

Let's just say the drive to the hospital was wild. They nearly crashed around 3 times, only slowing down near police, driving through one red light, although the raven claimed it was still yellow when he drove past and honked at multiple people, complaining that they're driving too slow. It was crazy and the brunette ended up throwing up once they halted in the parking lot. This made Levi move his car to the other end of the car park, for the  pure reason of his hate for vomit. Levi was a clean freak but he also had a phobia of vomit, good luck with kids in the future (😉).

The raven haired teen practically burst through the door of the hospital, eyes immediately searching for a mop of (k/h) hair. Once he found the woman he wanted to find he strode towards her. He placed a hand on her shoulder slowly, not to scare her and she turned around to face him. Her eyes bloodshot-red, tears streaming down her face, tissues squeezed between her fists and her usually neat (k/h) now knotty and messy. She turned to Hanji and embraced her tightly as she knew Levi doesn't like that contact. She went back to him and squeezed his shoulder, shaking her head and sobbing silently.

"Don't expect much."
