I stared at the ceiling then sat upright. '"Aww, so it's true. You're so sweet Laito, Going after her like that.'' I glared at Ayato and raised an eyebrow. ''Do you really miss her or are you just Hor-'' I glared at him again. He just smiled at me. ''Can't you just use your hand?'' I tossed a pillow at him and placed my shoes on my feet.
'"Where are you going? You've got school work to do.'' I didn't look at Reiji and then walked on. ''Just stepping out for a while.''~

''I haven't had modern food in ages! Okay. well months, I mean. Gourmet food is alright but hail to the Pizza.'' I laughed and listened to Yui babble. We sat on the couch, eating Pizza and watching a movie. My Aunt and Uncle had gone dancing and left us alone. I was used to this. It was actually peaceful now that I had a friend with me. Yui and I had went shopping the other day and bought Laito a belated birthday gift. It was my personal inside joke; A silver bracelet with a small wooden stake made out of clay. I bought it at a novelty shop. I don't know what possessed me to do it.
There was a big chance that he wouldn't find it funny at all. I'll risk it. ''We go back 'home' next week.'' Yui said, interrupting my thoughts. ''I'm not ready.'' I sighed and nodded. ''Yeah. I know what you mean.'' This house made me think of my mom,though. Where she was. I wasn't so sure If I was ready to go back either. Maybe I should try and find her, No. Maybe not.
'"Didn't your aunt tell you to turn the alarm on?'' Yui suddenly squeaked. ''She did it before she left.'' ''But...The light is yellow.'' I turned to look at the monitor above the entertainment center. ''That means someone who wasn't my aunt or uncle turned off the system from the outside.''
''Should we call someone'' I rolled my eyes at her and shook my head. ''I'll text her and tell her.'' I completely disabled the alarm and went to go check the outside. The went back and locked the door back afterwards. Yui and I retreated to my room so she could feel safe. I pulled out the twin bed from under mine and brought all the pizza into my room. ''We'll be okay right?'' I laughed at her and turned the Television on. ''We live in a house with six vampires. You tell me.'' She blushed. Probably out of embarrassment. She fluffed her pillow. ''I guess you're right.'' She mumbled.~
It wasn't long until we both feel asleep. But I stirred, I could Hear Yui below me, Sleeping peacefully. I cracked an eye open. When did I turn the Tv off? I sighed and sat up. And froze as I felt a grip tighten on me. I almost screamed until a hand covered my mouth. ''Shh. It's Only me, Kitten.''
