‘’I don’t know why you do things like this’’ He called after me. ‘’I’ll find you, kitty.’’ I could hear various things breaking behind me. Glass, A picture frame maybe. ‘’Yui!’’ I called as soon as I spotted her. It didn’t register in the back of my mind that I needed to pull myself to a stop because we had a full on collision; I had grabbed her by the arm and we both fell.

I was suddenly in pain, Weird, I fell on her. ‘’oops.’’ She mumbled and helped me. I picked a piece of shattered glass out of my hand. She had a cup, the cup broke, I cut my hand. I pieced it all together one by one just like ducks in a line. And in the midst of this I suddenly imagined a fox or something running after the ducks, and I remembered… I scrambled to my feet and pulled Yui with me. ‘’Run, Run run!’’ I yelled and grabbed her hand, both of us sprinting out the back and through the garden.

I could smell the blood from my hand, And I knew Laito could, too.I found myself licking at the wound trying to stop the blood flow. ‘’In here.’’ Yui whisper-shouted and we ducked into the Garden shed. We both caught our breath and slid to the floor. ‘’what happened?’’ she finally asked me. So I told her, About my talk with Kou, about Reiji and Kanato. ‘’Wow.’’ Was her response. ‘’wow?.’’ I questioned. ‘’You don’t expect me to believe that this reaction from him is a normal one!’’

‘’it isn’t’’ she guarded. ‘’Laito.. Doesn’t get jealous, ever.’’ I looked at my hand and sighed. ‘’so.. should I talk to him?’’ she raised her eyebrow and tilted her head. ‘’Do you love him?’’ I wished everyone would stop tilting their heads like curious puppies at me. I glared at hr and bit my lip. ‘’Yeah, I could tell.’’ She mumbled to me.

''Maybe you should hide in here until he cools down.'' Yui murmured, She had her knees pulled to her chest and a sweet smile remained on her face, She was the sweetest person I'd met in this household SO far. She reached out and grabbed my hand and started dabbing at the blood that was starting to cake up on the wound. She didn't drool over me, She didn't lick at it either. She simply dabbed away and tied it with an old piece of cloth. She smiled brightly. But it faded after a second. My heart stopped mid-beat as I turned to Face My very own Nightmare. Laito smiled and cocked his head to the side. ''Fooouuuund Youuuu.'' He sang and the very sound made me shiver. I whimpered and attempted to scoot closer to Yui. ''Beat it, Little Bitch.'' He growled at her, And so she did. Laito stalked his way over to me once we were alone and crouched down beside me. He said nothing, He just offered me his usual ''sweet'' smirk

‘’You think you’re so cunning and smart.’’ He hissed as he yanked me up and held me in place ‘Let go.’’ I warned and tried to move away. That only made him chuckle. ‘’Laito, get off!’’ I yelled again. ‘’You half breeds and your naivety. You think just because your share our blood you have a say in things.’’ I looked up at him from my eyelashes. ‘’You knew?’’ I asked him. He scoffed. ‘’Of course I knew. I’m not stupid, as soon as I saw you I knew what you were.’’ He let my arm go and pulled some fabric away from my neck. ‘’Kanato, Reiji, even Subaru. You’re quite the skank huh?’’ He scolded. ‘’And then you kiss my triplet, bet cha thought I didn’t see that one.  once told Little Bitch that she would never know how much it hurt to love someone as much as you hated them.’’ In an instant, Like my nerve was a pencil that had just been snapped in half. I shoved the gardening tools to the floor and turned to shout at him. ‘’Murder is the ultimate way to express your love in a vampire’s book.’’ I mocked his words from Yui.
