The three of us sat on the couch in my Aunt and Uncle’s living room as we collected our thoughts. ‘’How long ago?!’’ I asked her. Yuma leaned back onto the couch next to me as we both stared at her with intensity.

 

‘’Maybe around the spring. It was a few nights after you and Laito had first…-’’ She paused and looked over at Yuma with a blush, This only made him chuckle. ‘’Go on and say it, After the first night they fucked.’’ I elbowed him in the ribs and immediately regretted it. That hurt. ‘’So… Who is it?’’ I asked as if I didn’t already know the obvious. She blushed and played with her hair for a bit, and for a second, I got worried. ‘’It’s Ayato… Yui…. It’s Ayato… Right?’’ Her head snapped up and she squeaked. ‘’O-of course it is! Who else would I- Oh my goodness, no.’’ She said blushing and hiding her face. ‘’I can’t believe you would think something like that.’’

 

‘’I’m sorry. Why didn’t you say anything about it earlier?’’ ‘’Ayato doesn’t want to rule the world.’’  She said at once. ‘’He wants nothing to do with his father.’’ I leaned back. ‘’But you’re Eve, and not a sacrificial bride-’’ ‘’Doesn’t mean you aren’t.’’ Yuma cut in, Making me turn. ‘’I’m not. I’m just a normal girl who stumbled upon all this mess by fate. I’m no bride. I’m just someone who can’t wait to move away from this place.’’ Yuma placed an arm around my shoulder and I turned to him. ‘’You’re making things really hard for me.’’ I whispered softly and stood up.

‘’We should get back to the Manor Early.’’ Yui called. ‘’we need to clear some of this stuff up.’’ I shut the door to my room, I was half upset about leaving Yui out there alone with Yuma, but I knew she’d just come in here if she wanted to get away.

I lay on my bed and buried myself in the sheets. I missed Laito, Why hadn’t he tried contacting me yet?~~~~~

‘’These are Azaleas, And those are Birds of paradise...’’ Yuma hadn’t let go of my hand since we’d stepped foot in the friendship garden. Yui and I had packed the night before. We needed to get back to the Manor and clear some stuff up, Maybe then we could enjoy the rest of our summer.

 

A few moments later, I felt the air go cold, metaphorically or course. I felt something not right. And when I turned, Yui wasn’t there. I scanned around to see if she’d wandered off to look at some of the plants for herself. But that wasn’t the case. ‘’Squirrel bladder, Sow.’’ Yuma’s voice sounded behind me. I gasped and a hand came over my mouth. I tensed up and prepared to fight, But He’d already started dragging me backwards. ‘’Get off, Let go!’’ I screamed. ‘’Who would you have chosen if you were Eve?’’ He asked turning me around to face him. ‘’I could be a good boyfriend, Candy, Flowers- I can do that. You wanna go to the mall and browse, Lets do just that. I’d be the perfect Boyfriend. Lover and Husband, Maybe even father.- If that’s what you want.’’ He growled. ‘’Yuma-’’ ‘’What, I’m not some rich spoiled- Brat who’s going to sleep with you for a while and leave you.’’ He had started to pull down the top of my shirt a little bit. ‘’Stop.’’ I pleaded quietly as I tried to push him away. He pulled back, But only to tilt my chin up to kiss me, His lips were soft and gentle, and he ran his fingers through my hair and caressed the small of my back.

 

‘’I can show you, I can. I’m not like him.’’ He mumbled when he pulled away, He started to pull the shirt down a little, exposing my chest a little more. ‘’You’ve got such perfect skin you know. I’d treat you like a princess, Not like a slave pawn.’’ ‘’He doesn’t treat me like a slave pawn.’’ I argued and pulled away, But he held me tightly. ‘’Let Go!’’ I Hissed again. Yuma tilted my head and licked from the shell of my ear down to my chest. ‘’Someone help! Yui!’’ I tried to call again. Sora, Why weren't you fighting back?! Hit him! Bite him maybe?! Suddenly, Yuma's voice sounded in my ear again.
