Mycroft loved his brother. He truly did but he didn't show it like most people do. He never took Sherlock out to football games or out for ice cream every weekend. He showed his love in other ways. He comforted Sherlock when he had nightmares as a child, he played with Sherlock when their parents were to busy. No matter what Sherlock said to Mycroft he still cared. Throughout their teenage years they started to grow apart. Sherlock was angry at Mycroft for going away to school. Like it was hardly Mycroft's choice. It was their parents choice. If Mycroft had his way then he would have stayed home to watch and protect Sherlock. Alas he couldn't. Mycroft went off to school. He wrote to Sherlock as often as he could but barely got any replies. When he visited home Sherlock rarely spoke to him. Even though Sherlock cared less and less for Mycroft it didn't go both ways. If anything Mycroft cared more and more for Sherlock as time went on. Since Mycroft went away to school he became more protective of Sherlock since he couldn't watch over him daily. Sherlock grew more cold and reclusive as the years went by. He didn't really start caring again until Mycroft found him in a drug den for the first time. After that incident Sherlock started to care about Mycroft again and that was good. That brought them to where they are now.

Sherlock sat across from Mycroft three days later after their chat about John. Mycroft had very little information on why John was mad at Sherlock. Just because he had little information didn't mean that he had none. He had some theories and small evidence. The thing he needed most was the thing he couldn't get. The camera footage from the flat. Just because he didn't have it at the moment didn't mean he could not get it. It might take a while though, but he was willing to do everything to find out why John was mad at his little brother.

"So, have you found out why John is mad at me?" Sherlock asks nervously.

"I found a little bit of stuff but I'm not entirely sure if it will help." Mycroft replied honestly.

"Every bit helps Mycroft. It really does. I just want to find out what I did wrong so I can fix it." Sherlock said.

Mycroft opened the file and read off the items on the list "Okay, well John has been incredibly sensitive since you almost killed yourself with the drugs, maybe he got scared by something you did.." Mycroft trailed off not knowing what to say next.

Sherlock thought about what Mycroft said for a second before realizing something. "I know what I did wrong!" Sherlock said as he stood up.

"You do? Would you mind telling me?" Mycroft asked.

"Well, I was taking a nap after being up for about a three or so days on a particularly hard and stressful case. Of course you know when I fall asleep after being awake for days at a time I sleep like a rock. I don't hear anything, I don' t move at all really until I've rested enough so I don't collapse." Sherlock started rambling and Mycroft nodded in the appropriate places.

Sherlock continued on "John must have found me like that and tried to wake me up. Failing, he must of thought that I may have overdosed on drugs, which I haven't done in a long time thank you very much, so he probably got mad and upset and that's when I woke up." Sherlock finished.

Mycroft just sat there speechless and angry. He was angry at John for thinking that Sherlock would ever go back to drugs since he was in such a great relationship. He was angry at Sherlock for thinking that it was his fault. Most of all he was angry at himself for being a horrible brother.
