chapter 11: Taehyung

Weeks after Jungkook had told Taehyung about his past soul mate the younger boy called Taehyung in tears.

He had said something but it was so rushed and jumbled together Taehyung couldn't understand what he had said. All he knew is that hearing Jungkook like this was not something he liked. His heart squeezed with every sob he let out.

Taehyung quickly grabbed his jacket and keys while asking, "Jungkook, please calm down. What are you trying to say?"

The younger boy took a deep breath and said, "M-my arm. Th-the words. S-some of the l-let-letters are d-disap-ppearing. I-I don't. I-I c-can't."

Taehyung took in his words and he knew exactly what was happening.

"Jungkook, calm down. I'll be there soon. I'm on my way."

Taehyung ran to his car and started the engine and drove as fast as legally possible.

He got out of his car at Jungkook's house 15 minutes later. He ran to his door and didn't even hesitate on opening it. He followed the sounds of crying to Jungkook's room.

When he entered he saw Jungkook curled into a ball, still sobbing. He walked over to him, his heart hurt seeing Jungkook like this. He wished he could take away all of his pain, never see him like this again.

He walked over and sat next to Jungkook. He laid down next to him and pulled him close, "Jungkook, I'm here. Please stop crying. What happened?"

Jungkook wraps his arms around Taehyung and holds onto him as tightly as he can. He doesn't say anything but he does shake his head.

Taehyung feels like he's dying inside. He can't take this. He's never felt pain like this. Seeing Jungkook so distraught and in pain physically hurt him.

He took a deep breath and held onto Jungkook, "I'll wait. We can talk about this when you stop crying ok? Just get it all out."

Jungkook nods his head and continues to cry. Every now and then he would mutter something along the lines of, "Taehyung, it hurts so bad. I thought I was done with this." Every time Jungkook said something a little part of Taehyung broke. Eventually, he let a few tears drop and begged the universe to give him Jungkook's pain and leave the boy be.

Taehyung couldn't get much put of him but from the snippets of things he said and their conversation before he can assume this: Yugyeom's words were disappearing and it hurt a lot more than you could ever comprehend.

After an hour Jungkook finally calmed down enough to answer Taehyung's questions.

"Are you ok now?" Taehyung asked hesitantly.

Jungkook was still holding onto him but nodded his head and answered back with a gruff sounding yes.

"So what happened?"

The younger boy pulls back and brings his arm up. He looks at it a second before shutting his eyes tight and showing it to Taehyung.

Taehyung was expecting to see the same writing from a few weeks back but Instead of saying, ''I needed to get something from the store and didn't want to wake you, sorry kookie. I shouldn't be long, I love you. can't wait to see your beautiful face again' It said something different.
