Maya and Lucas had lost track of time and were still sitting on the bench talking.
In the city they were in there was a giant clock and it went off. "Oh God.I better get home I guess." Maya said hesitantly. (A/N Shawn and Katy are not married or dating.)
Maya started slowly walking back to her house and Lucas went to his. "Maya wait." Lucas called out. Maya looked at him confused. Lucas walked towards her. "You can't leave me hanging without a hug." Lucas insisted. Maya smiled and looks down. Then she gave him a huge tight hug.
Lucas kissed her forehead then they headed towards their houses. However, this time it was a smile.
In Josh's Bedroom:
Josh was lying there thinking about Maya and Lucas. He couldn't help but be a little jealous that Maya was totally uninterested in him now. But he realized how good Lucas was for Maya. Maya was obviously happy when she was with Lucas. Lucas was also happy when he was with Maya. They may not be dating...yet...but they were meant for each other.
So josh had a plan. A plan to get Maya and Lucas together.
