"Hey Losers" Maya said coming through the door. "Hey Maya"Mrs. Matthews said brightly.
"Where is Riley?" Maya asked curiously. "She went to Farkle's house after you and Lucas left." Mrs. MAtthews said like Maya already knew. "Oh thats strange. Well see ya later!" Maya almost got out the door till Topanga said,"What did you need sweetie?" "Oh Me and Riley were supposed to have a sleepover, But she went toFarkles according to you." MAya said simply.
"Okay have a nice night." Topanga said. Maya called Riley while walking back to her apartment.
Phone Convo:
Riley Maya
"Riles, why are you at Farkle's? We were supposed to have a sleepover tonight."
"Because you ditched me."
"When did I- Oh...We were suposed to go to the movies today weren't we."
"Yeah but you blew me off for Lucas. As always. I am sick and tired of this Maya."
"I'm Sorry"
"Sorry doesn't cut it. I'm done with this friendship."
Riley hung up.
Maya was't as much sad as she was mad. They had such a strong friendship and bond and Riley broke it because of Lucas. Maya hated to admit it but even Lucas wouldn't do that to her. She started to wonder if Lucas really was a better friend than Riley. Lucas would cuddle with her. He would comfort her, hang out with her, but most importantly he really cared about her. And she cared about him. After she had listed the reasons Lucas was a great friend, she was still oblivious that they acted like a couple.
She sat on a bench with an angry look on her face.
Lucas was walking on the streets and sat down next to her. Maya didn't notice.
"Hey." Lucas said plainly. It scared Maya and she jumped. She was relieved when she seen that it was Lucas."Sorry I scared you"Lucas said sincere. "See!" Maya screamed. "You actually mean sorry. Riley just says it scripted. RIley is such bi-." Lucas covered her mouth before she could say anything else. "What happened Maya?"Lucas asked. "Riley happened." Maya said quietly.
"What did she do?" "She ended our friendship." Maya said like she couldn't believe it.
"Are yous serious?" Lucas asked shocked. "As a heart attack." Maya responded. Lucas just put his arm around her and she laid her head on his shoulder just processing the thought of not being friends with Riley anymore.
