{Chapter 3}

Lily's POV:

*Later that day*

I went back upstairs to my room and Tryed hard not to think about my dad, the break in, everything.

I shut the door and hoped onto my bed grabbing my MacBook from my dresser next to my bed.

I turn it on and FaceTime josh.

As it connects I change into my pajamas and then brush my teeth before getting back in bed.

JOSH: "hey!"

ME: "hey" I breath.

JOSH: "I have a question for you.."

ME: "yeah, ask away."

JOSH: "as you went into your house I saw a guy running down the street from your house and I heard you scream as you got into your room because the window was open. Is everything okay? I feel like your keeping something from me.." He sighs.

I take a deep breath look into his eyes and say;

"Josh, what happened was there was a break in. The man you saw was my father. He is angry he is not getting enough money since the divorce. He wants us dead.."

JOSH: " oh my gosh lily I am so sorry.. I wish I could be with you to keep you safe." He smirks while looking at me with his big, soft brown eyes.

His eyes were gorgeous. I had blue Eyes which he was soo extremely jealous of since 3th grade when we met each other.

I also had the hugest crush on josh, but obviously never told him.. I mean isn't that what a crush Is supposed to be? Nobody knows?? Idk.

Anyways his hair was brown as well which made his appearance ever more hot. I could tell he had feelings for me too. The way he looks at me when we hang out is Definitely noticeable. He needs to work on hiding his emotions more...

even tho when he's embarrassed it's cute as crap.

JOSH: "Lily. Lily. LIL LILY!!!"

I pop my head up noticing I was zoned out for a good minute thinking about him.

ME: "josh I appreciate you being her for me. But I need to go because there are way to many things on my mind right now. If you want we can meet up tomorrow at 10?"

JOSH: "Yeah that'll be good. Goodnight lily."

ME: "Goodnight"

I pressed the end button and put my laptop up still couldn't keep my mind straight thinking about josh.
