I arrive at the hospital at 11:30 sharp. I then think back to josh. Guilt then courses through my veins and I feel sick.
I hurry out of my car and lock the doors and I walk to the entrance. As I walk through the doors cool air hits me straight in the face as I make my way to the front desk.
"My name is Lillian wallflower and I'm here to see my mother Paige?"
"Yes Yes dear floor 5, room 524 and don't forget to put a gown and mask on before entering." she says as she adjusts her glasses on the bridge of her nose before screaming again in my face.
"Next!!"
damn. what is up with these rude people today, geez.
I make my way to the elevator as I press the arrow that points upward.
I wait patiently as the door opens and a woman and her teenage boy push me to the side as they yell at each while they make their way out.
well fúck you too.
"Benjamin Riley I told you to be respectful to your grandmother she is in a lot of pain you selfish pain in the ass." she slaps her son on the back of the head before she turns around to me.
"Ma'am I'm so sorry my son is being very disrespectful right now if you would excuse us." as she turns around she grabs her son by his ear and drags him out of the hospital.
Oh mothers. I chuckle lightly before stepping into the small elevator and press on floor 5 as the doors close, erasing my view of the main floor.
--
As I reach the third floor the door opens and a doctor comes in.
As i reach the third floor, the door opens and a man stands in front of me that looks oddly familiar.
He's a baldheaded man with a white coat on and glasses on the brink of his nose. Is this dejavu?
Is this.. please let this be another man. I'm standing in the same room as my uncle Rodney who harassed me when I was little. no no no no.
Tears blurred my vision and I violently blink them as a memory sweeps over my brain.
flashback:
"Lilian?! Where are you?!" I hear him call my name.
"I'm in my room Uncle Rodney!"
I hear his footsteps come up the stairs and he gently knocks at my door and I tell him to come in.
"Hey... "He smiles at me as he comes in and closes the door.
"What you doing?"
"Just doing some homework." I say as I continue to jot down some numbers. I couldn't remember how to figure that problem out.
"Well, uhm..." He gently takes my pencil out of my hand and puts it on the floor.
"Do you know what's better than math?"
I was excited. This was an excuse not to do my homework.
"No, what's better? Everything?" I joked. We both laughed at my joke as my uncle sat all my books down on the floor.
"Let's play a game, Lilian." He smiles.
"I love games."
"Great. Close your eyes and put these headphones on."
He says as he gave me a pair of headphone connected to his iPod.
I quickly put them on and close my eyes.
"The music may be a bit loud, but it's a part of the game. And don't open your eyes no matter what." I did as he said and I didn't open my eyes.
I sat there for a bit and my uncle took off one headphone off my ear and whispered, "Now you're gonna stand like a doggy. Like, on your hands and knees. And don't open your eyes. "
And he puts the headphone back and I did as he said. I got on my hands and knees and I continued to close my eyes.
I felt something wrap around my wrists. They felt like handcuffs. I wanted to ask what he was doing but I just wanted to play this game, so I went along.
I felt something come up behind me. I got really concerned because this game was taking to long.
"Uncle?" I finally said. "What's going on?" I open my eyes and he isn't in front of me.
My wrists are tied to the edge of the bed and I feel something cold. A hand. I felt a hand taking off my skirt and underwear.
"I'm sorry." I faintly hear someone say. I look behind me and I see my uncle, pants down and my bottom exposed.
End of flashback.
I wipe my eyes from the numerous amount of tears that have left my eyes.
My eyes avert over to my uncle and to my disbelief he's already staring straight at me.
"Lilli-"
"Don't fúcking talk to me right now I'm not here to speak to your over your dumb decisions that you have made. I'm here to see my mother that got harassed by your cock-sucker of a brother."
In unison to the final word that departed my mouth, the elevator doors open and I walk out not daring to look back.
