{Chapter 4}

Josh POV:

I woke up the next morning to the sound of my alarm. crap!

It's already freaking 9:15, I gotta meet lily in 45 minutes!

I scramble out of bed to my bathroom that was connected to my huge master bedroom.

I take my clothes off and jump into the shower. When the warm water hits my body it's luscious remedy awakens me so where in not tripping over my feet like an idiot.

I get out, get a towel and wrap it around my waist and get my salmon colored Hollister shirt on with some Khakis and my blue vans.

I rush downstairs and get milk and the frosted flakes box out of the cabinet and make myself breakfast.

I eat quick knowing in about 10 mind I would be opening my heart to lily and telling her the feelings I have developed for her in the past 2 years.

My thoughts are interrupted by my mom.

"Josh what are you doing up this early it's a Saturday morning you should be sleeping in!" I got caught.

"Well I was going to meet lily to hang out since school is about to start and we don't have many classes together."

"Ok honey just be back by 12."

I kiss her goodbye and head across the street to Lily's.

Lily's POV:

"Mom can you make me breakfast I'm getting ready to go to Josh's."

I swipe on mascara and my eos and head downstairs.

I scarf down my pancakes my mom made and head to the door as I'm about to open it the doorbell rings and josh is standing in the doorway looking cute as ever.

I walk out and shut the door behind me and interlock fingers with him.

ME: "so whatcha been up to?"

JOSH: "Nothin much I've been looking forward to hanging out with you."

My cheeks then turn bright tomato red and my hands become instantly sweaty.

"Aww that's so sweet."

I glance over at him and his soft brown eyes were already glued on me. He made me feel special and I appreciate him for it.

We reach our friendship tree we've been collecting memories for about 7 years now. I break away from his grasp and run up to it and climb up to the top where my usual spot was.

We got settled in and he looked at me and had worry in his eyes.

"Lily I have something to confess.. I need to tell you what I've been feeling for the past 2 years and I can't stop thinking about it since the day I met you. You mean the world to me and I just want to let you know I-"

He is interrupted by a 80 year old woman known as Mrs. Wenflower

"You two get out of the tree before I called the police as she shakes her cane in fury.
