{Chapter 5}

JOSH POV:

later that day..

I can't believe I didn't get to tell her. I was so close omg. Like why does every perfect moment with lily have to ruined? My life is just a lie.

I rush up to my room.

I need to text her, call her, face time her something. I need to see that pretty face again. Before it's too late.

I slam close the door and quickly grab my phone from my dresser. I unlock it and go to my messages and text lily.

TO LILY: Hey meet me up in my room tonight at midnight. We need to finish up our convo from earlier.😘

FROM LILY: kk see you then;)

I wonder what I can do till then.. I'll go to the store and get some food and stuff for us later my mom doesn't care if I eat late.

"Hey mom I'm going to the store to get some things."

"What type of 'things' "

"Well I need new pencils and I'm gonna get a six pack of soda if that's ok?"

"Yes sweetie go ahead stay safe love you"

"Love you"

I grab my keys and head out the door kt my black jeep with doors and everything. I've always been scared something would fly out so I always kept doors on.

I starred the motor and headed to a nearby target. I get out lock the doors and head inside.

I stroll down the isles and see things left and right that remind me of lily. God stop thinking of her and get your stuff and go.

I head and get ice cream and drinks also I get lily a Starbucks mug that had our state engraved on it to represent the good ole state of ny.

As I'm walking down a isle with paper plates I notice the girl I never wanted to see again, the bitter irresistible woman about 5 feet from me. Thalia.

My ex girlfriend.

"Hey joshie"

She walks over to me and starts ribbing my arm.

"Um get off me." I say pushing her off and grabbing the basket for of my groceries.

"Oh come on babe have some fun.."

"No you go have some fun somewhere else with another man you always stay a night with and that's not me plus I have a girlfriend." I felt my stomach be instantly full of butterflies considering lily as my girlfriend even tho I haven't asked her yet.

"And who is this lucky girl your talking about.?"

She strolls towards me once again and starting touching my abs and slowly goes lower and lower down till she reaches the top of me.

"Okay that's enough of you Thalia she is a beautiful and I am honored to call her my girlfriend so good bye."

And with that I went to pay for my stuff and left.

I head home walk upstairs out my groceries up and wait patiently for Lily to come over.

LILY POV:

oh my gosh I have to see josh in an hour. What do I do? What do I wear? oh my god.

I pull my head our of my butt and walk to my dresser to get out a crop top that says 'ohana means family' and some high waist acid-washed shorts with my aqua vans.

I go to my bathroom connected to my room and straighten my hair. I look at my clock. it's already 11:30!!

I quickly go on Instagram and Twitter and check my notifications to take up the spare time and see it's 10 mins till 12.

I quickly go down the stairs noticing my parents are asleep and the lights are out. good. ok. I quietly open the front door which to my luck Is a squeak free door. thank you Jesus!

And I head to Josh's house.

What will come next. What did you want to tell me. What am I going to do. Is he gonna tell me that he likes me? OMG what if He kisses me what if- stop with the 'what ifs' and stop worrying every thing is going to be fine.
