Master of The Cards (Yu-Gi-Oh Seto Kaiba X Reader (DISCONTINUED)

Chapter Four- Easy Street......not.

Y/n's POV:

I woke up after the party at the Kaiba's, grinning like mad about something. What was it? Something amazing had happened last night, and I had been part of it-

I had kissed Seto Kaiba on the cheek.

I remembered my thought last night before I'd finally fallen asleep.

I didn't sleep though. I lay awake, watching the stars, thinking about the kiss I'd given Kaiba, no, Seto, and how I'd like to give him another.

Wait, what?

I was contemplating that thought, when the door burst open.

"Yyyyyyy-nnnnnnnn!" Yugi screeched. "I wanna go to town!!! There's a tourney going on, and Yami wanted to check it out!"

I rolled over, mumbling, "Go tell your mou hitori no boku that he can go himself."

Yugi dragged me out of bed, squealing, "But it won't be fuuuuunnnnnn without youuuuuuu!"

Yami came in and helped Yugi throw me into the closet. "Get dressed, we leave in ten!" Yami called, walking away.

Soon I was ready, and Yami, Yugi and I headed out.

At the tourney, we checked in. "Hey, Yami," I asked, "What does the big KC stand for?"

"KaibaCorp. Seto is probably holding this tournament. He likely wants a rematch."

I laughed. "But no one can beat you!" I exclaimed.

Yami shrugged. "Yugi did."

Soon, I was underway in my first duel against this kid with green hair and bug-eye glasses. I kicked his butt easily, big time. "Sorry," I told him, "Am I bugging you?" The kid, who used an insect deck, sneered at me and rolled his eyes. 

The tournament went on and on and on. Soon, it was just Yugi, Yami, myself, and -how did he enter his own tournament?- Seto. The semifinals started, with  me facing Kaiba and Yami against Yugi.

-time skip-

"I activate Mirror Force!" I shouted as Kaiba's blue-eyes attacked my Dark Magician. The blue-eyes exploded, and my Dark Magician attacked Kaiba directly, finishing him off.

Kaiba walked up to me and caught my arm. He leaned forward and whispered in my ear, "Good luck. You have what it takes. Take him down."

This looked bad.

Yami had all three god cards on the field. I glanced at my hand. Nothing but a spell card. Wait- a spell card!

"I play Pyramid Crumble!" I yelled, watching my three Gadget monsters disappear. Yami's monsters all disappeared, but I didn't have him take damage. Instead, my Dark Magician finished Yami off, and the King of Games's LP hit zero.

Yami walked up to me and shook my hand. "Good duel," he said. "That was a spectacular finishing move."

I smiled. "Thanks, Yami," I said as Kaiba ran up to me and crushed me in a.....hug?

"You did it, you did it, I can't honestly believe it!" He shouted.

He pulled back, and I could see his ice blue eyes were actually happy. And he was smiling! (Dead puppy alert.)

I couldn't resist. I stood on tiptoe and kissed him on the cheek. "I guess I really did it," I said, giggling.

He blushed slightly, looking shocked, but he was Seto Kaiba- he wasn't off his game a bit.

I walked home, since the tournament was close to the game shop. Shuffling my deck, I started to cross the road- and a car veered off its lane, headed right for me!

I tried to dash out of the way, and the car missed me- but instead, my head hit a lamppost and I collapsed.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a figure in a white coat run up to me. "Y/n!" it called.

"S-Seto....." I managed, before I blacked out.
