Y/n's POV:

I swim in the darkness, trying to regain consciousness. Where am I? How did I get into this place?

My eyes fly open and I try to sit up. My head flies wildly around the room, trying to find clues as to where I am.

A boy is sitting by my bed, watching his hands shake. His head is down, but I say, "What are you doing?"

He shrugs. "Waiting for you to wake up."

I'm confused. "Do I know you?" I ask.

He nods. "My name is Seto Kaiba. Do you remember anything about the tournament?"

I shake my head. "What tournament?"

His eyes flick up to meet mine. "I'm sorry. You were leaving the tournament. There was a reckless driver and you dove out of the way, slamming into a street pole. You got a pretty bad concussion, and the doctors say you have a slight temporary case of amnesia."

"Oh, that sounds bad," I say, looking out of the window.

Seto moves so he's sitting on the side of the bed. "I tried to get you here as fast as I could. I'm sorry."

A memory flashes in my head.

I tried to dash out of the way, and the car missed me- but instead, my head hit a lamppost and I collapsed.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a figure in a white coat run up to me. "Y/n!" it called.

"S-Seto....." I managed, before I blacked out.

"Seto."

He nods.

I remember something else.

I blushed, taking the bottle and spun it. It landed on- (who do you think Reader-chan?)

-Kaiba.

"Holy *beep* on a *beep* sandwich!" Tristan said.

I scooted over to the CEO and pressed my lips against his cheek, then quickly backed up, blushing.

My face flushed at that one.

Even-

Kaiba looked completely stunned. I mean, I would be too.

"Let's play Twister!" Mokuba shouted to break the silence.

So we played Twister, which I sucked at.

"Y/n, this is the weirdest game of Twister I've ever played," Yugi told me as we put our right hands on red, forcing me to fall- right on top of Kaiba, who fell as well.

Seto watched me carefully. "You gaining back some memories?"

I nodded, smiling at the image of Seto's flushed face as he had fallen. "Seto?"

Seto glanced at me again. "Yeah?"

"I never did ask you, what was your perspective on the, thing, at Mokuba's birthday?"

Awkward silence while Seto comprehended this.

"Well, I think I didn't mind it, really. Actually, I-" he cut off when he saw me looking at him curiously, like a little puppy. (just had to) "Y/n, are you okay?"

I nodded slowly. "Yeah, I'm fine."

Suddenly, Seto pulled me into a hug. "I'm glad you're safe."

Hesitantly, I put my arms around him, smiling.

He pulled back. "Sorry, I'm not a typically huggy person. Not to mention I don't do this often," he added, suddenly touching his lips to mine.

I fell back, surprised.

"Sorry," he said, scratching the back of his neck.

"No, no, it's fine."

Awkward silence.

Finally, I leaned over and kissed his cheek. "It really was fine."

Seto suddenly pulled me back to him, kissing me again. "You'll get your memories back if I have to run to the end of the Earth to do it, Y/n."

I nod.
