Ina's POV
Today was the day. It's time for Gina to betray Guy. I hop out of bed and make myself some breakfast as usual, then I head to the bus stop. There were still people whispering and pointing, but I just smiled, knowing what was going to happen today.
-time skip to when Ina gets to school-
I finish putting everything in my locker, and head over to Gina. She has a folder in her hands. I'm guessing this folder was full of the fake Guy pictures.
"Are those the pictures?" I ask, grinning.
Gina turns to me and nods, having a grin of her own. We both snicker at this.
"When are we going to put them in people's lockers?" I question.
Gina taps her chin, before speaking. "I think during lunch is a good time. Everyone will be too busy eating to notice us."
I nod and look around me. Luckily, I didn't see Guy anywhere. I open my mouth to speak, but before I can say anything, Gina and I bot get pushed out of the way. It didn't knock us over, but it was enough to make us move.
"Hey! What's the deal?" I ask angrily.
The chef ignores me and proceeds to open their locker. They had a hood covering their head, so I couldn't see who it was. Gina growled and ripped the hood back.
"Anne.." Gina muttered, backing up and grabbing my arm.
"What? Who is this?" I ask.
"Anne. Burrell." The chef, now identified as Anne, states dully.
I see a look of fear on Gina's face, but I stay where I am.
"Why did you push us? You could've just asked nicely." I say.
Anne slams her locker shut and turns to face Gina and I. She looks us both over before turning the other way and walking away. I was about to call out to her, but Gina shook her head.
"It's no use. She won't respond." Gina said, shaking her head.
"Oh, she's one of THOSE types of chefs.." I responded.
"Yep, pretty much." Gina laughed.
I laughed as well before Gina and I parted ways, each heading to our own class.
-time skip to lunch-
Gina and I had to fight back our laughs when we were passing Guy's table. If he saw both of us laughing he might get suspicious. When we arrived at our table, I spoke up.
"I don't think we should both go. Guy thinks that you're still helping him."
"You're right. I'll go and put the pictures out, you can wait here." Gina said, standing up and walking out of the room with her folder.
I opened my lunch box and started taking my food out. Suddenly, I heard a tray slammed down on the opposite side from me.
"Gina? I thought you were-" I stopped talking when I looked up and saw Anne. "Anne?"
Anne gave me a look that just screamed 'I'm judging you' before starting to eat her food.
"Uhh, are you just not gonna talk? Come on, open up a bit!" I said happily.
Anne looked up at me and set her food down.
"You know," She said in her rough voice, "What you're doing to guy will never work. He's far too smart to let you get away with this."
I looked at her in shock.
"How did you...how did you know about that?" I ask.
"I know a lot of things. It's pretty obvious that you're having Gina betray Guy." Anne stated.
"Really? Do you think Guy has figured out?"
"He hasn't. But he will soon."
"Are you going to help us take down Guy?" I set my lunch down and looked intently at Anne.
Anne made a disgusted face before shaking her head no.
"Why would I help the new girl? Besides, I don't just pick one side. I go with the winners after the battle is finished." Anne says, standing up and taking her with her lunch. "See ya later, Ina."
I squinted at her and looked back to my lunch. After her little speech, I didn't know if I felt like eating anymore.
