Chapter 9: Forgiven

-two days after Ina and Gina's plan was ruined -

Paula's POV

I'm so confused right now. There are rumors going around about Ina trying to attack Guy. That idiot..we told her not to get involved. Apparently she's getting help from Gina Neely, one of Guy's most trusted allies. I guess he was wrong. Giada and I have stopped hanging out with Cat, she's way too controlling. Also because yesterday we found her yelling at some chefs in the hall. She must be a liar. That means she lied about Ina. Will she forgive us? Well, we're about to find out.

"I hope this works.." Giada muttered.

I nod as we walk together towards Ina's locker. Ina was there, talking with Gina. She glanced at us and her eyes widened.

"What?" I heard Gina ask before she turned around. "Oh.."

I pursed my lips while Giada gave a sad smile.

"Is there...something you need?" Ina asked, looking at her locker instead of us.

"Ina, we're here to apologize." I answered.

Ina glanced at us, and I could see it in her eyes how upset she was.

"Ina we're so sorry. Cat is working for Guy, we should've known. And I never even saw you talk to Cat! We really hope you forgive us. I understand if you don't, but we just wanted to say sorry." Giada said.

Ina's lip quivered and she ran to hug us both. We were all in some cringe worthy group hug, while Gina just stood there looking proud. We finally have Ina back as our friend, and I couldn't be happier.
