Chelsea, Alex, and Matthew all sneak out in the middle of the night, a trash bag full of clothes in each of their hands. They head out towards the forests of their backyard and head a ways way into it. Once they get to a little creak there, they dump the trash bag out, revealing Alice's clothes inside of it. They put the clothes in a pile and Micheal takes out a box of matches while Alex takes out some lighter fluid. He dumps the fluid all over the clothes and Mike then lights the matches and throws them on the clothes. The three children laugh and Chelsea jumps in glee at their accomplishment. "Alright. Once we're done with her clothes, we'll go on to her belongings, objects and stuff. Then mom and dad can finally forget all about that stupid bitch." Chelsea says, huffing a bit. The others nod and they stand, watching as the flames consume the clothes. After the clothes are nothing but a pile of burning ashes and the fire starts to spread to the leaves, Chelsea then starts pouring water repeatedly on the flames, making sure to get them thoroughly soaked.
After that, they leave, taking the lighter fluid can with them. Once they reach the house, they sneak back in and put the evidence away, smiling to themselves before going to watch tv.

Matt and Jane finish their errands that they had to do today and are on their way back home from the police station. "I can't believe they haven't found anything yet. It's been more than one week. What the hell are they doing over there?!" Jane rants. "Calm down babe. I'm sure they'll have something soon." Matt says, his teeth gritted to keep his anger and annoyance in check. The rest of the drive home is silents. Once they get home, Matthew starts making them a light lunch, making sandwiches for everyone. They have a quiet lunch in the living room, watching a movie on tv, while they eat. "So. Mom, dad. Now that, that hideous thing is gone, and since it's summer, can we finally go somewhere fun?" Mike asks. The parents blink,"What hideous thing?" Jane asks. Alex scoffs,"That stupid girl. Alice. Ever since she came to this house, you guys pay so much attention to her. She has disrupted this family. I hate her." he says. "I do too. She's such a bitch, thinking she can come in here and try and plant herself in our family. She doesn't belong here. Where ever she is, and who ever took her, I hope she dies." Chels says after him.
Matt gasps,"What is wrong with you all? Do you know what she's been through? Do you know how she had to fight to survive. You guys are trying to act like spoiled little brats and I will not accept it. You three are grounded until further notice. Leave, and go to your rooms. Ill be up in a minute to take your phones and whatever else electronics that you have." he says. The three children groan and grumble at their punishments, stomping their way up the stairs. Jane stands and starts pacing,"What in the world is going on? We didn't bring up the children to be like this; why do they have so much hate for her?" she asks. Before Matt can answer, the door knocks. Jane huffs a frown and walks to open the door, Matt following her. Link stands there, still playing the facade of Elkins. "Hi. I was coming back to ask you what you thought of our offer." he says smiling. Jane rolls her eyes discretely and shrugs,"Yes we have. And I'm sorry but we don't need any new partners. Sorry." she says. Link raises his eyes but nods,"Alright. Thank you for hearing me out." he says, then turns away and walks back into his car, turning it on and then leaving.
Jane and Matt go back inside and go up the stairs, Jane breaking off to go to the master bedroom and Matt going off to go take the childrens' phones and electronics. After a few minutes, he joins Jane, seeing her slowly start to strip down to put on her pajamas. He smiles and locks the door, creeping up on her. Jane turns and sees him two inches from her face, jumping a bit. Before she can question him, he leans down and kisses her lips, both humming in pleasure. Matthew starts backing Jane up towards the bed, and when they finally fall down on it, the phone rings. The two sigh out, Matt reaching over to pick up the phone. "Hello?" he says.
