"And done!" Anya cheered, unpacking the final piece of her belongings.
"That wasn't so bad huh?" Asked Ian with a mirthful smile.
"Not so bad? Ian it's night out. It took 8 hours. But thank you. I wouldn't have finished without you. Plus who knew Damon Salvatore was such an interior decorator!" She said with a smirk.

"Oh no I'm trembling in my boots!" Anya sarcastically stated.
"Just you wait. It'll happen."
"Sure it will Smoldy. Sure it will." She scoffed. "Well I'm going to run over to my neighbors and pick up Moose, why don't you order some food. I'm starved!"
"Wait a minute, you still have Moose?" He asked surprised looking over at her.

"Of course I still have him silly! Ok I'll be right back!" With that she walked out and shut the door behind her.
Which left Ian to think. Moose was the cat he had bought Anya for her 23th birthday. To say he was surprised she still had him was an understatement. He figured when she left she would've given him away. Moose was a gift given out of Ian's pure love for Anya.
Maybe it was a sign?
A sign that she still felt something for him.
A sign that she couldn't let go of him completely.
A sign that he still had a chance.
A sign that she still loved him.
