After many long years...
The next morning was peaceful for Ian. Seeing Anya asleep beside him filled him with a joy he had been missing. His smile came easy and it was real, not forced.

Slowly she opened her eyes. Ian didn't even try to hide the fact he was staring at Anya.

"Why are you looking at my like that?" She asks.
"Like what?" He says innocently.
"Like that!" She exclaimed "you've got this weird smile on your face."

"I'm happy." He states simply.
"So am I" she agrees. "You don't know how much I've missed you" she adds.
"I have a pretty good idea."
"What do we do about everyone else? And them finding out" she asks slightly worried.
"We don't try to hide it. We don't say anything, we just go about living our lives."
"I like that idea. Wow you actually have a good idea for once!" She cheers sarcastically.
"Oh is that how is going to be?" He asks as he begins to tickle her and Anya starts laughing.
"No no no stop! Ah!" She yells in between giggles "come on I have to shower!"
"Fine fine." He reluctantly lets her go.
With a sigh she stands and looks at him with pure joy in her eyes "I love you." She says.

The gentle smile that slips on his face speaks louder than any more words he could say. "I know" he simply states.
"Did you just Han Solo me?" She laughs.
"Maybe!"
She continues to laugh as she walks into the bathroom. Ian hears the water turn on and settles back into the bed closing his eyes.

Until he hears, "Well aren't you going to join me?" Yells Anya from the bathroom.

With that statement his eyes shoot open. Ian never moved so fast in his life to get to her. And, well lets just say their morning plans were forgotten.
