As the sun set on Christmas Eve, Anya and Ian were shuffling about inside a beautifully decorated house, putting the finishing touches on what they believed would be a magical night. Anya glanced out the window to see a trail of cars as they began arriving at the Dobrev-Somerhalder household.

"They're here!" She yelled excitedly catching the attention of her fiancé.
"Okay sweetheart calm down!" He laughed at her giddiness.
"How can I?" She asks simply, "I just want everything to be perfect. It's our first Christmas in this house..." she ended quietly.
"It is." Ian agreed, "but it's also our first Christmas with everyone we know and love. It will be just fine." He said pecking her nose, eliciting a giggle from the woman he loved.
"Okay," she stated with finality, smoothing out her dress, "let's go welcome our guests shall we?"
Ian offered her his arm in response, which she gladly took as they walked towards the door, the only thing separating them and the growing group outside.
Outside
As everyone began following the dark driveway leading to their friends house, they noticed a light in the distance, as they continued down the road they were instructed to go, they were awestruck.
