Light And Fire [Chanbaek]

Chapter 3

Tao quickly but quietly, since it was 2:00 in the morning, trying not to wake up Baekhyun.  Tao went to the room across from his.  Tao used the room key and unlocked the door, everyone was given 4 room keys per room just in case something happened and Kris gave his spare to Tao.  Tao tiptoed to Kris' bed and gently shook him.

Who is waking me up from my dream?  Tao and I were about to kiss.  Who ever this is better have a good explanation for waking me up before I was about to kiss..."Tao?"

"Sorry I woke you up but there is something I have to tell you."

"No no it's fine.  Come here."  Kris sat up and patted the bed for Tao to sit there.  "Are you ok?  What happened?"  Kris could just look at Tao and he knew that Tao had a special dream. Kris and Tao were best friends for a long time they never keep secrets from each other, but the only secret each one keeps, is their feelings for the other. So when Tao had one of the dreams he will go straight to Kris and tell him what happened.

Tao stopped time then he tapped Kris' forehead so he was no longer frozen. Kris knew why Tao stopped time, it's because he was afraid of Chanyeol hearing, who was on the other bed on the other side of the room.

Tao told Kris all about the dream. "Do you think the fire has something to do with Chanyeol and was the two parts connected?" Kris asked.

"Maybe, I mean Chanyeol does have the power of fire. The first part sounded like gunshots but more then one so they were killing more then one person. And the second one a boy was begging his mom not to kill them." Tao said trying to understand his dream.

"Wait did you say the boy was bleeding out of his right calf?" Tao nodded, "Chanyeol said that he saw Baekhyun crying holding his right calf."

Tao's eyes got wider just thinking about that. Then the area around them started to blur and then back to normal and that meant Tao's power to stop time was gone. Tao needed more strength to keep it going but he had non left.

Tao started to get really sleepy. It was now 3:00 in the morning. Kris and him talked for an hour.

Kris noticed Tao getting sleepy so he got up and helped Tao back to his room. When Tao was tucked in, Kris went back to his room to sleep.

Baekhyun woke up and started to get ready for school.  He looked over at Tao who was still sleeping.  Baekhyun shook Tao to try and get him up.

"A few more minutes."  Tao said as he froze time and snuggled back into his blankets.

The time stop power were off and Tao finally got up.

Right before Baekhyun left he grabbed Chanyeol's jacket.  He opened the door just as Chanyeol opened his.

"I didn't know your room was across from mine.  Anyway here is your jacket."  Baekhyun said as he handed Chanyeol the jacket smiling.  "Thanks for letting me use it"

Chanyeol looked at Baekhyun and grabbed his jacket.  "Yah whatever, you should have just brought your own."  Chanyeol turned and walked off.

And here I thought he wasn't a bad guy.  Was I wrong?  Baekhyun thought as he waited for Tao since they have 1st period together.

Tao finally came out of the room. It felt like he was in there for hours. And they started walking to class.

English and Math were fine.  Just like a normal class because it was still a school after all.

When 3rd period came, free period, Baekhyun just sat down next to a tree and read a book. Little did he know someone was right next to him.

Out of nowhere a guy slowly appeared next to Baekhyun. "What are you reading?"

Baekhyun almost peed his pants when he heard a voice. He looked to his left and saw a guy standing there looking at Baekhyun. He looks kind of cute. Baekhyun thought. "Just a book my mom gave me."

"Cool, mind if I sit?"

"Not at all." Baekhyun said

"My name is Minho, invisibility power." Minho said as he sat down.

"Baekhyun, light power."

"Hey you're new here right?" Minho asked.

"Yes."

"Here let me show you around." Minho said as he stood up and extended his hand for Baekhyun.

Baekhyun grabbed Minho hand and blushed a little.

Wow, he has such soft hands. It suits his pretty face. Minho thought.

3rd period had ended and it was time for lunch.

Baekhyun had a fun time walking and talking with Minho.

Baekhyun walked in the dining hall and sat down at his usual sit, across from Chanyeol.

"So how was the classes so far? Meet any other friends beside us?" Chen asked.

"Classes were good and yes, I did meet another friend. His name is Minho." Baekhyun said as he turn around to look where Minho was sitting and to Baekhyun surprise he was starring right at Baekhyun. They both quickly turned away.

Chanyeol saw a small blush on Baekhyun's face and then he looked over at Minho, who was also blushing.

Why do I feel pain in my heart?  Am I jealous?Chanyeol thought as he looked down at his food.

Tao and Kris saw everything.
