Light And Fire [Chanbaek]

Chapter 5

Baekhyun walked into the dining hall, grabbed his food and sat at his usual table.

"So Baekhyun I was wondering would you want to hang out tomorrow at Free Time because we have Free Time the same period." Kai asked.

"He can't because he is hanging out with Minho." Chanyeol mumbled to himself.

"Sure." Baekhyun said with a smile on his face. Baekhyun answer caused Chanyeol to lift up his head at look at Baekhyun with shock.

"I thought you had plans with Minho?" Chanyeol asked.

"How would you know?" Kris asked.

"Chanyeol was behind a tree when he heard me a Minho talking." Baekhyun explained. Chanyeol's face turn red as he continued eating.

"Oh snap, someone was caught spying." Tao said as he and Kris started laughing. Chanyeol looked up at them with his face full of food witch made all of them laugh. Chanyeol held up his hand with a fire ball in it threatening to throw it at them, that made all of them stop laughing.

"So you do have plans with Minho or not?" Kai brought the conversation back up.

"No I don't, I figured out that he was asking me on a date but I turned him down because I don't like him in that way."

"Then why did you blush when you looked at him at lunch?" Tao asked.

"I wasn't blushing my face was just getting red because I was embarrassed that he was staring at me. I get embarrassed when I catch people starring at me." Baekhyun explained, everyone just nodded.

Chanyeol let out a sigh of relief when he heard that Baekhyun doesn't like Minho that way.

On the way back to their rooms Baekhyun, Tao, Kris, and Chanyeol. Yes Chanyeol actually walked with them. Were just walking and talking. When all of a sudden Baekhyun right calf started hurting. It will start to hurt when Baekhyun walks to much.

He tried to hide the pain but it was hard to walk so he started limping.

"Are you ok, Baekhyun?" Tao asked.

"Yah, just my right calf hurts." Baekhyun said as Tao and Kris looked at each other.

Tao decided to stop time so he could talk with Kris.  He tapped Kris' forehead to unfreeze him.

"Baekhyun RIGHT CALF hurts."  Tao said.

"I know, he must be the boy from the dream."

They decided to look at Baekhyun, then their eyes switched to Chanyeol.  Chanyeol was looking at Baekhyun with a worried face.

Everything got blurry then time began again.

"I think I pulled a muscle."  Baekhyun lied because he didn't want to tell them the truth.

"I am going to keep asking." Kris said as he and Chanyeol walked in their room, "Do you like Baekhyun?"

"No, why would you say that?"

"Because you were spying on him when he was talking to Minho and when Baekhyun said that out load at dinner, your face got red."

"So..."

"And when we were walking back and Baekhyun said that his leg hurt, Tao stopped time to talk to me. Then we saw your face, you were looking at him with worry written all over your face."

"What were you a Tao talking about?" Chanyeol asked trying to change the subject.

"That doesn't matter to you. Now answer my question. "Do you like him?"

"I don't know, ok happy now."

"What do you mean you don't know?" Kris asked.

"I never loved anyone before but I feel like I have, I don't know how to explain it."

"Well, how do you feel when you see him?"

"My heart will start to race and I try not to talk to him or keep our conversations short. Because I know I will either stutter or say something stupid." Chanyeol said. "And when he touched me I get really hot, like hot that I will lose control of my fire. That's why I went easy on him it's because I was afraid I was going to hurt him."

"Well sorry to say this but Chanyeol, my friend, your in love." Kris said, "And don't let your fear over take your heart. Maybe if you open up to him he might help you control your fire. Besides light and fire go hand in hand. He could be your special one."

"Thanks Kris, I will talk to him tomorrow. Good night."

"Good night, Chanyeol."

"And since I am going to talk to my crush, you better talk to yours." Chanyeol teased.

"Maybe." Kris said as he drifted off to sleep, were he dreamed that he and Tao were together.

"Baekhyun is your leg ok?" Tao asked.

"Yah, it was just a cramp."

"Are you sure? Baekhyun you know if you tell me I won't tell anyone."

"It was just a cramp, nothing to worry about, ok?"

"Ok. Good night Baekhyun."

"Good night, Tao."

I want to tell him I really do, but I just can't. It's to hard to say it out loud because it hurts, my leg hurts to walk all day and my heart hurts every time I remember it. I still hear the noises in my head. It feels like just yesterday that worst day of my life happened. Baekhyun thought as tears started running down his face. He went to sleep with the memory replaying in his head.
