Light And Fire [Chanbaek]

Chapter 1

Baekhyun looked at the address that his father gave him.  Did my dad write the correct address.  I mean he gave this paper to me awhile ago.  Baekhyun was standing in front of a forest.  Maybe it's deep in the forest. 

He started to walk forward and as he passed the first tree, a build appeared.  Baekhyun looked around with his eyes widened.  He saw people walking and talking to each other.  Baekhyun guessed that this was the school and they put a forcefield around it to keep it hidden from the people who didn't have powers. 

He started to search for the headmistress' office.

"You must be Byun Baekhyun, I am the headmistress of this school."  She said as she started to look though papers on her desk.

"Here," she handed him a paper "Your room is located in the right wing."  Baekhyun nodded.

"Classes start tomorrow at 8:00 in the morning, don't be late to class."  Baekhyun nodded again.  "Dinner is in the dining hall starting at 6:00, after dinner in your room you should find your school class schedule."  She explained.

"Now run along, you need time to unpack before dinner."  Baekhyun bowed and walked out.

Baekhyun opened up the door to his room.  A guy was sitting at his desk, it looked like he was studying.

He stood up when he saw Baekhyun.  "You must be my roommate, I am Tao."  The guy named Tao said while he bowed.  "Hi, I'm Baekhyun."  He returned the bow.

When Baekhyun was unpacking his stuff, Tao asked "So what's your power?"

"Light and what's yours?"

"Time."

"So you can stop time?"  Baekhyun asked curiously.

"Yes and I also get special dreams about the past, present, or future but I don't get these dreams all the time. When I do get one of those dreams it means something big is going to happen."  Tao explained.

Baekhyun was going to say something but he was cut off by a knock at the door.  Tao went to open the door.

"Hey Kris."  Tao greeted the guy at the door. "Come in."

"I see you got your roommate."  Kris said while looking at Baekhyun.

"Hello, I'm Baekhyun."  Baekhyun said as he bowed.

"Kris."  Kris said as he bowed back. "Flight power."

"Light power."  Baekhyun said.

"So Kris, what are you doing here?"  Tao asked.

"Well...um," Kris started at say but he started stuttering, "Do you want to walk to dinner together?"

"Sure." Tao said trying to hide the blush that was on his face.  Kris wants to walk with me?

"Cool, I will see you in a hour."  Kris said as he waved Tao and Baekhyun goodbye.

Once Kris was gone Baekhyun looked at Tao and asked "Do you like him?"  Tao quickly turned away.

"No, why would you say that?"  He could feel his face getting red.

"Because it is pretty obvious and plus I think he likes you too."

"No he doesn't we are best friends." 

"I don't think best friends stutter when asking the other one to walk with them."

"Just finish unpacking."  Tao said as he through a pillow at Baekhyun.

"Yah!  What was that for?"  Baekhyun and Tao just started laughing.

Kris was waiting outside his room.  His room is right across from Tao's.

Tao opened his door and greeted Kris.  Has he gotten cuter then the last time I seen him?  Kris thought.

They started walking to the dining hall.

Baekhyun opened the door to go to dinner.  Tao gave him directions of where the dining hall is before he left.

Baekhyun walked into a building and inside tables were spread out everywhere with a second floor looking over the first one.  There were also tables on the second story.

He got his dinner and started to look for a place to sit.  Tao saw him and waved him over.
Tao was sitting with Kris and three other guys.
He set his food down across from a guy with big ears.

"Tao is this your new roommate?"  Tao nodded

"Everyone this is Baekhyun."  Tao introduced him.  Baekhyun bowed.

"Hi, I'm Chen lightning power and there is no need to bow."  Baekhyun nodded.

The next guy didn't introduce himself because he was to busy looking at something or someone.

Chen elbowed his side making him snap out of his gaze.

"Still stalking Kyungsoo?"  Chen teased.

"I'm Kai, teleportation power."  Kai said as he glared at Chen.

The third guy just stood up and walked away. Without saying anything.

"Sorry about him, he usually isn't like that." Kris said. "His name is Chanyeol, fire power."

Baekhyun just watched as Chanyeol walked away.

Chanyeol, what the hell is wrong with you?

Chanyeol was walking back to his room thinking of Baekhyun.

His heart was beating fast and he felt his body getting hot. He did have the power of fire but his body never felt like this before.

Was Baekhyun the one that can control his fire?
