chapter nine - The mood

Eddy's p.o.v

The sun rose with a beautiful glow which penetrated through my room making me cover my head with the pillow.
I did not want to get up since i had stayed out late at that party and my eyes were not ready to open yet.
I turned to feel the comfort of the whole bed but was met with a hard wall and though wishing not, my eyes opened only to see a blonde sleeping beside me.
She was in her all glory and darting my eyes down my body i saw i was naked too

Damn! This was my parents house, she was going to get me into trouble, I had to get her to leave before my mom barged in my room to wake me up.
What was her name again? Jeez i couldn't even remember, I had drunk too much after seeing Lisa with that good for nothing, she had seemed so happy and enjoying his company.
I had approached the counter which held casks of beer and all i know is that i dawned one bottle after another until i lost count.
A blonde had come to me with smooches all over my face and all i had wanted to do was release my frustration whatever happened at night i didn't care.

"hey miss get up, You have to leave " i tried to make her get up but she took it like some kind of teasing which i didn't need right now.
Gosh, she wasn't even beautiful. Well not in that manner she was cute and had a nice body but she was not anywhere near Lisa.
I think i'm going crazy that girl is just but a waitress with no class at all.

By the time i had convinced the blonde to leave i was so bored that i swore to leave the cliff hangers and collect myself together.
I had to go see Lisa, even if i wouldn't be able to talk to her, seeing her was just enough for me.
I dialled Del's number only to get a voice mail.
Damn, I was going to do this by myself, I knew where to find Lisa.

Dressing up quickly in some jeans and a white tee I took the car keys and drove to the restaurant, I was so nervous that on second thoughts I wanted to drive back but no girl had beaten me to this kind of things and I wasn't going to let her look like a hero.

As I parked at the parking lot my phone rang and I was so absent minded that I answered without looking at the caller name.

"hello.. "

" hello Darling it's Claudia, just saw you going in at the Elliot's am coming over wanted to talk to you. "

" Ah.... Claudia.. I... I.. "

" don't worry dear I'll be there right away"

With that she hang up, I cursed so loud that anyone nearby must have heard.
The devil knew how to ruin my plans. Very well I would have to wait for another time maybe the next day.

As I sat there waiting for the beauty Queen Claudia to arrive, I started questioning myself why I was even that much interested in the poor waitress, she was no match for me.

But no she is different

Well, I would have to talk to her and reduce her pride.
Just then Claudia arrived and together we walked inside, a table was reserved at a corner specially for us I knew Claudia had done this.
I scanned around and I could not see Lisa.

Where was she?
I hope she wasn't sick

What do you even care?

"Hey darling, who are you looking for? "

"ooh no one Claudia am alright "

With that we ordered and ate in between making small conversation which did not interest me that much and I was sure Claudia noticed.

After a while we left after convincing Claudia that I had some business to take care of which wasn't a lie as such although I wasn't enjoying her company either, she acted so possessive around me when I hadn't given her the slightest suggestion of any relation between us apart from friendship.
I had talked to my dad and he had agreed that I could look for an apartment of my own since I was now all grown and could take care of myself. Apparently my mother disapproved and it had taken much convincing to explain to her.

I was going to move in today since the apartment was all ready and the first thought that came to my mind was...
I want Lisa to be the first to visit me there

Driving away after parting with Claudia I headed to collect a few staff at home.
I went back and forth to do some shopping for the place and for some unknown reason I wanted the place to look better.
I even bought groceries although I wasn't the person to eat inside I would call up Del or some fling and eat at a posh restaurant but this time I wanted my place to have the feel of a home.

That night I lied down in my king sized bed thinking of Lisa. My phone rang several times but I ignored it when I saw that it was Claudia.
It took me a while to fall asleep but when I did it was with much difficultly.

The next morning the little mouse Claudia was ringing me up again, she was starting to get on my nerves and it irritated me.

"hello Claudia, it's still very early "

" Eddy I rang your place and was told you moved out, why didn't you tell me? "

" Ah... Claudia .. "

" what's your street address I'll come over "

Damn

" well actually Claudia am at a friend's place "

" which friend? "

" ah.. Del"

" Oh alright, make sure to call me later so I can check out your new place"

"sure "

With that I hung up groaning in frustration, I didn't know what to do with this Claudia's attention anymore it was just so annoying.

I got up and got ready to do some jogging outside. I had decided on this since it would be a good way to focus and not spend my time with one time hookers.

As I jogged I checked my watch and saw it was 8:00 o'clock, well I would do it for another twenty minutes then be back to take a shower.
Just then I bumped into a a hard wall which together we crumbled on the floor.

Without looking I lifted myself up very fast and looked down only to see the death of me staring with those big flirtatious eyes.

"oh my God Lisa, what are you doing here? Am so sorry I didn't see you "

I tried to help her up but she pushed me away and picked herself up, she did not even talk to me and I was afraid that maybe she had gotten hurt.

" Lisa.... "

" Don't worry am alright it was partly my fault too, anyway am running late for work I have to go"

She brushed past me and started walking away but I held her hand.

"hey Lisa wait, I think I messed your working clothes, you've got dirt all over, you can't go like that "

" it's okay there's a spare back at the restaurant I'll change there. "

" look my house is just nearby, why don't you come I get you a clean shirt then you can be on your way? "

" No its fine thank you"

"Lisa it wont take long, allow me since I'm the one who knocked you down."

"thank you but I'm running late, my boss will be so mad at me"

"look I'll drive you to work and apologize myself "

What the hell Eddy, you really are crazy

With that she reluctantly agreed and I led the way back to my place.
