Megan’s POV

“I found out Jason’s number. Maybe you can track him down.” I handed Cameron a piece of paper with Jason’s number written on it. He smiled and took it from me. “Thanks. I’ll get Jordan to help me track down the number tomorrow. You’re a big help, Megan.” He turned away from me and continued to work on his laptop.

Do you ever get that feeling when you feel that someone is watching every move you make even though you’re alone? That’s what I felt like when I was walking on the sidewalk, making my way to the same local park to meet Justin. It wasn’t like last time’s walk; it was different. If it were even possible, the sky was much darker than before. The moon and stars didn’t seem to shine bright tonight and it was windy. I was wearing my grey sweatpants and a grey hoodie because I was too lazy to change into something...provocative. Once again, I had to sneak out of the house which was easy because Cameron was fast asleep-not having a midnight snack at McDonalds.

I reached the park but notice that Jason wasn’t there. He wasn’t leaning on the tree like last time so I decided to sit on one of the swings and wait for him. After about ten minutes, I noticed his car on the road. I got off the swing and walked over to it. He rolled down the window and smiled.

“Sorry I’m late. Hop in.”

I got on the passenger seat and closed the door beside me. He drove to where ever we were going. It seems like we’re going to have a lot of mid-night adventures together. He’s one mysterious criminal.

“Want to go to my room?” Jason asked, already halfway up the stairs, I narrowed my eyes at him and slowly made my way to the stairs. “Sure...” Once we were at the top, he lead to the door which was located at the end of the hall. There were three other doors too and I was guessing that they belonged to the other boys. He opened his door and walked in. I stood at the door, examining his room. I smiled to myself. It looks like a “normal teenage boy” room, except messier. The walls were painted blue which matched his bed. He had a dresser at the right side of the wall and a large, wooden desk with papers scattered all over it. Clothes were tossed everywhere and left-over food was lying around. Once I walked in, I cringed at the smell. It smelt like dirty socks, rotten meat and a faint hint of weed. Interesting. I wouldn’t be surprised if he smoked weed, to be honest.

“Wow. You have a nice room...”I chuckled.

Jason leaned on the wall and looked at me, half smiling. I walked to his dresser and to my surprise, there were photos that were framed in a little, single picture frames. I picked one up and examined it. There was a cute, little boy holding a soccer ball and a woman stood right next to him, they were both smiling widely.

“Aww, is this you?” I asked Jason, looking at him. He crossed his arms and nodded.

“You were so cute, what happened?!” I joked.

“I become hot.” He answered back.

I chuckled and placed the picture frame down. I picked up another one. This time, there were four people. Two little boys (one was Jason), and a man and a woman who seem to be the father and the mother.  All of them looked happy.

“And I’m guessing that this is your family.” I said.

No answer.

“Or maybe not.”

Still no answer.

I looked up and Jason’s presence was no in sight. I did a quick 360 spin to check his room but he wasn’t there.
