Snowed In With The Dolan Twins

They say everything happens for a reason and I didn't believe that until now.

Today my mom had to go to New Jersey for a meeting for work and she wanted me to come with her.

"Mom do I have to go?" I asked her.

"Yes (y/n) your father is out of town this week and the meeting came up so sudden that you have to come." She said gathering her things for the trip.

"But I'm old enough to stay home by myself." I said as I sat down on the kitchen counter.

"You are only 16 plus I would really love if you would come...I'm going over to my friends house and their boys, who are 17, just came back to visit them from L.A. and I think you would like them."

"Okay...since you want me to go so desperately." I said sarcastically.

I had a great relationship with my mom. We're more like friends than anything else.

"Thank you baby...now go pack or we might miss our flight." She said as she hurried me up the stairs to pack.

The flight was really long but I didn't care, I played on my phone mostly. When we got to the hotel room my mom got ready to go to her meeting.

She was curling her hair "remember after my meeting we're eating with my friend and her family so dress nice!"

"Okay mom!" I said while laying on the big bed playing on my phone.

She left for her meeting and now it was time for fun.

I picked up the hotel phone

"Hello do you guys have room service?"

I got this massive double chocolate cake when I realized what time it was.

"Shoot I have to get ready!" I ran to my luggage and picked out some black ripped jeans, white Converse a grey t-shirt and a green jacket since it was cold and snowing outside. I curled my hair and put some makeup on.

"I would say this is nice." I said looking in the mirror fixing my hair.

Just then my mom popped into the room.

"Okay we have to be there in 30 minutes or Lisa will have a cow...aw sweetie you look so nice! Now let's go!"

We got into the car and drove to see this big house. She stopped the car.

"Wait this is it!?" I said in awe

"Yes this is the place"

"I should've dressed nicer." I said feeling a little insecure.

"No you look great! Now get let's go in"

We knocked on the door to see a woman with a big smile greet us in.

"(Y/mom's/n) hi I'm so glad you made it with all that snow I was surprised you showed up!" The lady  looked at me "oh you've gotten so big last time I saw you, you were like 7 months old!"

"Yeah she's growing up a little too fast."

They both laughed.

"Well anyway come in I'll call the boys down so you can hang out with them...when you guys met they were 1 years old so you probably don't remember them." She went over to the stairs "ETHAN, GRAYSON! WE HAVE COMPANY!"

Wait did she just say Ethan and Grayson!? My favorite YouTubers? My mom knows them!? wait I met them!? what the heck is going on!?

"Where's Cameron?" My mom asked.

Oh my gosh this is absolutely insane.

"Oh she's in college...I forgot to tell you that she finally found one she really liked. I'm really proud of her."

Ethan and Grayson ran down the stairs

"Sorry mom Ethan was still trying to edit the video."

"It's okay...this time" she said playfully "guys this is (y/n) you guys met when you were really little but you probably don't remember that.."

"Hi (y/n) I'm Grayson!"

"And I'm Ethan."

"Nice to meet you guys." I said trying not to explode from excitement.

"Why don't you guys go to the basement and play ping pong or something?" Lisa said.

"Yeah that's sounds fun." I said trying to calm my inside.

"Okay it's this way (y/n)." Grayson said as he showed me downstairs.

"So you wanna play?" Grayson said.

"Better question is Do you wanna get beat?" I said with a smirk.

"Uh-oh Grayson you might've found your match." Ethan said with a smile.

"Well then let's do this."

The ball went back and forth for like 3 minutes until finally I made it passed Grayson and won.

"Suck it!" I said as I dropped the paddle and did a little victory dance.

"Okay-okay you win!" Grayson said laughing at my dance moves.

I just beat Grayson Dolan at his own game...I just meet the freaking Dolan Twins and I'm not even nervous anymore!

Finally they called us up for dinner and me Grayson and Ethan hurried up and ate then went back downstairs.

"I guess their having fun." My mom said still eating at the table.

"Well that's a good thing because I think we're snowed in...you might have to stay the night."

I played Ethan in ping pong and he lost miserably.

"You are too good at this (y/n)" Ethan said.

"What can I say I'm a natural!" I said as I twirled my paddle in my hand.

I guess I should tell them I know them now so I don't have to deal with it later. But how do I tell them?

"You know when I first came here I had know idea the Dolan Twins lived here...I love your videos by the way."

They looked at each other in shock.

Crap! did I say wrong.

"I'm sorry I probably shouldn't have said that" I said looking down.

"No it's fine it's just you fooled me. You are like the first fan that didn't lose their cool around us. You're pretty awesome (y/n)" Ethan said rubbing the back of his neck with his hand.

I blushed as I looked down so they didn't see I did when I saw my mom come down the stairs.

"Aw man she can't leave Mrs. (y/last/n) we are having too much fun!" Grayson said with a pout.

"No that's not why I'm here...I'm here to say we are actually staying the night because we are snowed in." She said

"Wait seriously!?" Grayson said.

"Yeah I guess you guys get a sleepover." She said waving her hand in the air as she walked back up stairs.

"Huh snowed in with the Dolan Twins? That would be a great video! Ethan that would be a great video!"
Grayson yelled at his brother.

"Yeah that would! We could do tons of challenges and dares and tell crazy stories!" Ethan said.

"(Y/n) do you want to do it?" They both said.

"Yeah that would be awesome!"

Grayson looked at me and Ethan "Then it's settled! 'Snowed in with the Dolan Twins' is gonna be awesome!"
