New Friends

"Okay I'm all ready." I said looking down at my packed luggage.

Ethan wrapped his arms around and kissed my head.

I turned to look at him, careful not to break his embrace.

"I'll be home before you know it." I said giving him a soft kiss.

He bit his lip. "I know it's just four months seems like a long time."

"I know. But don't worry we can call and face time every day."

He nodded his head. "Yeah." A tear slipped from his eye and I kissed it and wiped it away.

"Ethan I know it's hard but can you be happy for me?" I said softly hoping he might not of heard.

"(Y/n) I can't believe you would think I'm not happy for you. Of course I'm happy for you! I just wish it was happening here and not you know in Paris."

"Me too."

Suddenly my dad walked into my room.

My mom and dad had flew in to see me before I left for Paris.

"Hey kiddo you ready?"

I wiped a tear from my eye and Ethan let go of me.

"Yeah I'm all packed."

"But are you ready?"

I knew what he meant. He knows how I feel about Ethan and how I didn't want to leave him.

I looked at Ethan and nodded his head.

I turned back to my dad "yeah I'm ready." I kissed Ethan for the last time "bye Ethan. I love you."

"I love you too."

I walked out of my apartment. I felt bad for being excited to go to Paris but I couldn't help it.

"Mom, I'm going to Paris!" I screamed with excitement.

Ethan's POV

I saw (y/n) for the last time as she walked out that door.

I sat down on her couch and put my hands on my head when I heard someone scream.

"Mom, I'm going to Paris!" (y/n) yelled

Yes I was happy for her, of course I was but I didn't think something like this was going to happen to her.

I felt someone tap my shoulder. I looked up to see Grayson.

"How you doing bud?"

"Not good. It's not even been two minutes and I already miss her."

"I wish I could cheer you up. How can I cheer you up?"

"Make (y/n) appear in the room."

"Well I'm not genie but I could try."

Grayson turned to the door and pointed with both hands. "(Y/n) appear!!"

The door opened and there she was standing there.

Grayson's eyes went wide as he whispered "did I do that?"

I got up and shook my head "no bro you didn't."

She looked at me.

"(Y/n) what are you doing here." I smiled with hope

She let it a deep breath "I didn't want to come back but...I left my luggage." She said pointing to the bag right next to me.

"Oh...here." I said giving it to her.

"Thank you." She smiled and walked back out.

"I'm so stupid. I literally thought she was coming back to stay."

Grayson hugged me.

"Do you want to get some pancakes?"

"Yeah I do."

Your POV

We got to the plane and I was off to Paris.

Considering I was only 17 my mom had to come with me.

"You're gonna have a great time. You don't have to feel bad for being excited."

She knew me too well.

"Really? Because I feel awful for being excited."

"He would want you to be happy. Now turn that frown upside down!"

I smiled at her.

"Much better." She said patting my lap.

The ride there felt like forever especially since all I could think about was Ethan.

What was Ethan doing?

Does Ethan miss me?

Did Ethan already eat dinner?

Anything and everything was related back to Ethan.

I saw a little girl holding an cracked iPhone.

"Aw Ethan had a cracked iPhone." I said aloud on accident.

"What?" My mom said taking her headphones off.

I shook my head "nothing."

She put them back on and went to sleep.

Suddenly a girl smiled at me and walked over to the empty seat next to me.

"Hi I'm Sofía."

"Hi Sofía I'm (y/n)."

"Oh I know who you are. I love your videos. Could I get a picture with you?"

"Sure."

She took her phone out and we took a photo together.

"So why are you going to Paris?"

"I'll tell you but you have to promise not to tell anyone."

She nodded

"I'm going to be in a new Freeform tv show. I'm the lead."

"You're kidding!?"

"No not at all."

We ended up talking the whole night. Turns out she was my age and was going to be in the show I was in.

"Co-stars. I had know idea you were going to be in it! This is gonna be awesome." She said

They whole time we were talking I didn't even think about Ethan. I think we are going to be good friends.

I feel bad for not giving a thought to Ethan almost the whole way there but I honestly just want to have a good time without feeling bad about leaving him.
