We Need You

"No response...wait!!" The doctor yelled

Me and Grayson looked up at the doctor who was standing up.

"Get him into the ambulance quick!"

All the men helped put him in the ambulance.

"Ethan!? What happened what are you doing?"

"Don't worry he's alive, barely. we need to take him to the hospital quickly."

I put my hands over my mouth. He's alive.

Me and Grayson followed the ambulance to the hospital.

We walked in as soon as they took him into the hospital. I saw him on the gurney looking a little more lively then before.

"Ethan. Please come back I love you." I whispered

We followed the gurney but suddenly a woman stopped us.

"No you can't go in there." She said.

"But that's my brother!" Grayson yelled pointing to the door.

"I'm sorry you're gonna have to wait."

Grayson put his arm around me and we walked to the waiting room.

We waited and waited and waited.

Nothing. He was still in there.

"What do you think they're doing?" I asked Grayson who was trying to distract himself by reading a magazine.

He threw the magazine on the floor frustrated.

"I need another magazine." He said getting up and grabbing another magazine.

I messed with my fingers until he got back with his magazine.

He sat down and didn't even pay attention to me.

"Maybe surgery? Or maybe not? Do you think he's okay?" I asked

He put his magazine and looked at me clenching his jaw.

"I don't know I'm not the doctor (y/n)!!" He yelled at me which scared me coming from a sweet boy like Grayson.

I looked down. "I-I'm sorry." I whispered

"I'm sorry (y/n) I'm just-I'm just frustrated." He put his magazine down and put his head in his hands.

I patted his back. He sat back up "it's just we've- I mean I've never been in a situation like this before and it being my twin brother it makes everything worse."

He hugged me and cried as I rubbed his back.

"I love you Grayson everything will be alright."

"I love you too (y/n) thank you." He let go of me

I gave him a warm smile and suddenly a doctor walked up to us.

We both looked at him and he looked a little upset.

"What's wrong? Where's Ethan! Is he okay?"

"Well..."

I pushed through the doctor tears streaming down my face.

"Ethan!" I ran through the halls of all the rooms. "Ethan!"

I looked in every glass window until I saw him.

"Oh my god Ethan." I smiled and ran into the room.

I walked up to him he looked like he was sleeping.

I pushed his arm to wake him up. He didn't wake up.

"Ethan?"

Suddenly the doctor and Grayson walked in.

"What's wrong with him!? Why won't he wake up!?" I screamed tears flowing down my face.

"That's what I was going to tell you."

Grayson looked at Ethan concerned "what? What were you going to tell us?"

The doctor looked at both of us "he's in a coma we-we don't know when or if he'll wake up."

I looked at the doctor "if? He might not wake up?"

"We uh we don't know for sure...but some people say that if you talk to them they can hear you which might make him wake up faster. I'll leave you guys to visit him." He walked out

I grabbed a seat and sat next to Ethan and so did Grayson. I held Ethan's hand

"Ethan I-i don't know if you can hear us but Grayson and I need you to wake up. We love you...we-we need you."
