The lunch bell rang and I grabbed my bag and coat and shot out of the door. I was determined to hide from Imogen for as long as I could. I snuck into the library and found a chair. I picked up a random book and started to read it. It was actually quite a good book. I turned the book over and read the title. 'The knife of never letting go'. I'll have to find the other books in this series. I went back to reading until I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to find my self come face to face with no other than Will.
"Hey Mia"
I stared awkwardly.
"Um hi?"
He smiled at me and I couldn't help but to smile back.
"You didn't strike me as the type of person I'd find here."
I let out a little chuckle.
"I could say the same to you. And I don't normally come here...I'm just hiding from someone."
It was his turn to give a chuckle.
"Ah I understand now. Would it be your friend I met at the football pitch before tutor?"
"It might just be." I smiled at him.
"If you knew her like I do I'm sure you'd be hiding too."
He sat down on the chair opposite me and clasped his hands behind his head and stared. He sat for a while just studying my face. I didn't know where to look so I picked up my book and started to read again.
"Miiiaaaaaaa!!"
Ah no. I knew she'd find me eventually. I looked up to see Imogen striding towards me with a frown plastered on her face. I caught Will trying to stop laughing. I frowned at him.
"Really Mia? If you thought you could hide from me then think again. And if you want to hide then I suggest not telling Alice where you're going because she spilled pretty quickly." She smirked.
"Oh Imo what did you do to her?"
She grinned smugly.
"Nothing that she couldn't handle."
I grinned.
"Did you tickle her? You're so mean Imo!"
She laughed.
"I know, its her only weakness and she'll spill everything....But this isn't what I came here to say Mia, stop changing the subject."
I sighed. Here it comes, the ghastly interrogation.
"Sorry Imo. Let me get my coat and bag and I'll be with you in a sec."
I turned to the table and started to pack up my things. I heard a stifled laugh and looked up. Will stood over me and smiled.
"I guess I'll just be going then?"
I stood up confused.
"What?"
"Well as you're going for a private interrogation with your-" he looked at Imogen "-friend, I guess I'll be going."
"Ah yeah sorry, Imogen is very stubborn when it comes to getting answers from me."
He laughed and grabbed his bag.
"Well ok, if you need any help if she gets too much, just shout." He threw a glance at Imogen then turned back to me. "I'll see you around Mia."
I watched him leave the library. Ah Will, what are you doing to me?
