Chapter 44|| I love Kenny...

"Are you upset we left early babe?" I asked as we sat on surfboards not trying to sound too serious about ditching the idea of spending Christmas with her family and flying out last night.

"No, I mean I did believe my mom didn't invite him but I was just over it and the cold was a bit too much." She shrugged as she loosened her hair and ran her hand through it before staring at me.

I stared over at her and she raised her eyebrow but I simply shook my head with a small smile and stared ahead.

"So Christmas with your boyfriend is all you want?" I asked after a bit.

"All I need for Christmas is my lunatic boyfriend and Puppy. I wouldn't have liked being away from him anyway" She smiled as a wave moved underneath us and I almost fell which caused her to giggle.

"You sure that's all?" I cleared my throat which caused her to frown as her brown eyes stared over at me.

"What do you mean?"

"Well I was thinking. I mean I haven't seen my mom in awhile, we could maybe fly down there" I shrugged not really sure how to bring the shit up without making it seem like a big deal. I guess it could be seen as that with me but in the end it was just something I wanted to do. I wanted to love Kendall and I did, I wanted her to be mine and she was.

But of course it was my Angel and her eyes immediately widened as she bit her lip to fight a smile, "Really?"

"Only if you want to babe" I smirked knowing she already liked the idea. Luckily for me my mom wasn't the over the top kinda lady. She would just give me a smile and be a good hostess or at least that's what I hoped, it wasn't like I had brought a girl home before.

"I would love to" She smiled brightly and if I wasn't scared of losing my balance I would try and get closer to her.

"Good. You know Kenny, I hope me not being able to surf is a deal breaker because I cannot become one with the ocean" I added to try and get off the topic.

I didn't want her thinking about it too much because we would only be flying out tomorrow morning after I booked the tickets. I wanted to have a good day before then.
