16: The Baby!?

Your P.O.V:

I decided to walk around the island when I saw a Wyran flying above, it was trying to get my attention. "Hey Aph, you might want to see this!" I shouted over. Both Aph and Aaron came over. "I think it is wants us to follow it. Should we?" I ask. They both nod and we follow the Wyran. We make it to a cave and see a lot of Wyrans and a straw bed. I walked over to the straw bed and saw a baby. Aaron immediately picked up the baby.

The Wyran we followed comes in and lands near Aphmau. "Greetings Lord Aphmau." The Wyran said. I had no idea how I could understand the Wyran but I decided to just ignore that for now. Aph was very happy to the Wyran she hugged it. I thought it was going to attack her but it just stood still as she hugged him.

"Raven! It is so good to see you." She said excitedly coming out of the hug. The baby started crying and Aaron tried to calm it down but it wouldn't.

"Um... Y/N or Aph, can one of you try to calm the baby down." Aaron asked. I took the baby first but the crying just got worse. I gave the baby to Aph and they slowly started calming down. "Where did the Wyran find the baby..?" Aaron asked again. I shrugged then looked at Reaven.

"She was at a ship wreck.. The mother was dying and I while I was trying to save her. She gave me her baby and we have been taking care of her ever since but we are running out of supplies and won't be able to support ourselves as well as the baby. Lady Aphmau, do you think you could adopt this child just like you did with Levin and Malichi?" They asked. I explained everything to Aaron and they waited for Aph to reply.

She looked down at the baby and smiled. "I think I will adopt her." She answered and her smile grew bigger. Aaron stood next to her and put one arm around Aph and looked down at the baby.

"I will adopt her too. We can be her parents. How does that sound Aph?" He asked and Aphmau was blushing hard. I started laughing and we bid our goodbyes to Raven and the other Wyrans.

*Time skip*

Back at the village, I was keeping Zoey away from Aphmau and Aaron because they were having alone time with the baby. "Y/n, I feel like people are hiding things from me, you know?" She said. I nodded without realizing. "Like what..?" She asked again.

"Like how Aphmau is in the forest with a baby... with Aaron-" I realized I said that and turned to see Zoey running full speed into the forest. "ZOEY LEAVE THEM ALONE THEY ARE HAVING ALONE TIME WITH THEIR BABY!" I shouted trying to catch Zoey.

"APHMAU!" She finally made it to Aphmau. "Two things. One: How could you not tell me you had a cute little baby. And two: How could not tell me you HAD a cute little baby. You must me the father." She said looking at the baby the shaking Aaron's hand. I couldn't help but laugh but Aph gave me evil glares.

"Zoey... I have adopted her, Aaron is helping me out by being a father figure. And yes, you can still baby sit her." She explained before Zoey could ever but in.

"Aphmau, what is her name then?" I asked out of curiosity. They both looked at each other and in the end Aaron told us.

"Her name is Lilith~Garnet. It was the name my wife want to give to our daughter if we had one but we had a son instead..." He trailed off. 'Jacob was a lovely boy, it was a shame that the village died that day...' I thought. I looked up and Aaron was frowning but no one seemed to notice. I frowned as well, luckily no one noticed still.

Zoey and Aph left back to the village leaving Aaron to grab Lilith and head back. "Don't worry Aaron," I blurted out. "We will get our revenge. I promise that!" You said determined. He smiled and you both walked back to the small village.

I know it is short but again, I will make up for it in the final chapter(...probably...). It is defiantly something worth waiting for. Bye~
