18: Looking for Laurance

Your P.O.V:

Aphmau had been in her house crying for weeks now, if I tell her I knew this would happen she wouldn't forgive me. But if I don't tell someone it will keep eating away at me until I blurt it out like what happened when I was with Zoey on the island. I really miss Laurance, where could he be.

I saw Dante and Garroth go up to Aphmau's house and I knew I wouldn't have to see her today seeming she had others friends who cared about her more. Besides I have only known her for about 2 months, not very long for me to stick by their side. I heard someone sneaking up on my, I quickly turned and saw Mizzy. "Hey, Y/N. Sorry if I startled you. Um... do you think you could help me look for Kallie..?" She asked with a sweet smile. Kallie was a good friend of mine and she was willing to stop those dreams from happening. However I really needed to find Laurance.

"I don't think I can Mizzy... I really need to find Laurance. Sorry." I explained apologizing. Her sweet smile suddenly turned into a giant rage of anger, it had attracted most of the village.

"NO I GET, YOUR BOYFRIEND IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN A FRIEND! GO FIND YOU LITTLE BOYFRIEND, BUT WHEN THINGS GET BAD DON'T COME RUNNING TO ME FOR HELP!" She shouted then ran out of the village crying. Levin and Malachi walked up to me. Levin looked at me weird, while Malachi was giving an untrustworthy glare in the direction Mizzy ran.

"She seems to get very emotion when her friends disappear. I should have agreed to help her find Kallie but I want to find Laurance right now." I said smiling. Malachi gave a quick smile and then glared back over in the same direction again. Levin smiled and left so I walked up to Malachi. "What's up..?" I asked concerned, he might know something I don't.

"I could have sworn I saw Mizzy smile before she was began shouting." He explained. I gave him a look that said 'she always smiles, there is nothing wrong with that.' He sighed and looked me in the eyes. "However it wasn't her regular smile, it was more like an evil smile like she planned all this to happen." I tried hard not to laugh a Malachi's assumptions. Before I could reply, I saw Aphmau with her wings and flying. I ran over to see what was going on.  

When I got over there, a red haired woman was laughing and a werewolf had attacked Garroth. I started running towards them and then I noticed Vylad running from behind them. They spotted me and sighed. The werewolf ran at me, but I managed to knock him down and head straight for the woman. Vylad and I had her surrounded and I started screaming. "WHO ARE YOU!?" All she did was laugh and she jumped before we could grab her. The werewolf ran to her and she laughed again and they ran away. I went to help Aph, while Vylad helped his brother. Garroth looked Vylad in the eyes and hugged him tight.

"Vylad I thought you were dead. Mum has been worried about you all these years. But then again, she probably thinks we are all dead now." Garroth said coming out of the hug. I smiled at them and thought I saw Laurance. I started to walk towards him hoping, but Vylad grabbed my wrist. I looked at him confused.

"The reason Laurance and I have been 'absent' for a while is because of the calling." Vylad explained. My eyes shot open and Garroth and Aphmau looked confused. "The calling is when the Shadow Lord calls the Shadow Knights back because he needs them. The calling has gotten very bad for Laurance. However some of us , Y/N and I, can ignore the calling very well depending on how long you have been in the nether for." He explained to get rid of Garroth and Aph's confused faces.

"Why doesn't Laurance come into the village and we can all sort it out." Aph offered. I quickly shook my head with a slightly scared expression on my face.

"I am afraid we can't do that. If Laurance sees one of us he might blame what is happening to him right now on us. When it comes to the calling, you have to stay away from Shadow Knights. Maybe it is best I go with Vylad to keep an eye on Laurance. That way if the calling starts effecting me or Vylad there will still be someone to keep an eye on the other two." I explained taking a step towards Vylad to be standing by his side. Aphmau looked at me and looked worried.

"Don't worry Aph, I'll keep an eye on them." Vylad reassured Aphmau. Aph nodded and she left with Garroth. Me and Vylad followed Laurance where ever he went.

*Time Skip*

It was night and Laurance had stopped to rest for the night. Vylad was also asleep and I was keeping an eye out in case Laurance left without us knowing. I went to look where Laurance was sleeping and he wasn't there. I looked around for him, but couldn't find him anywhere. I was just about to give up until I felt someone wrap their arms around me. I quickly turned my head around to come face to face with Laurance. "Hey Y/N... How long were you going to take until you finally said hello?" He asked with no expression in his voice. I turned back around to face the forest.

"I wanted to but then you would blame all this on me." I explained to him without realizing. "Laurance you need to ignore it and come back with me." I begged getting out of his hug to face him once again. He looked away as if he didn't want to look at me. 'Did I do something wrong? Does he not want to be with me?' I thought to myself with tears threatening my eyes. He turned to face me again wiping away my tears and smiling.

"I want to ignore this Y/N, but it is hard. It must be hard for everyone. Instead of watching me from a far with Vylad, why not walk with me and we can get through this together..?" He offered. I looked back at Vylad and then into Laurance's eyes. I nodded and took his hand. "Don't worry, we won't go to far so Vylad can still keep an eye on us. We sat down and looked up at the stars and soon fell asleep.
