*Latimer House, Latimer Study, Night*

Dad enters the study with me dropping my hand he heads for the desk where he pours a whisky Francesca and Digby are sitting in chairs in a corner, Clara kneeling in front of them Latimer has set Alice down in a chair.

"They're not going to attack. They made no attempt to conceal their arrival. An attack force would never abandon surprise so easily - and they're clearly in a defence formation." Strax said Dad fake-boxes Strax.

"Well done, Straxie, still got it!" Dad said and rubs the top of Strax's head before kissing it.

"Sir, please do not noogie me during combat prep." Strax said.

"So there's something here they want." Vastra said Clara stands.

"The Ice Woman." Clara said.

"Exactly." Dad said.

"Why's she so important?" Jenny asked confused.

"Because she's a perfect duplication of human DNA in ice crystal form. The ultimate fusion of snow and humanity." Dad explains he paces and hands Latimer the whisky "To live here, the snow needs to evolve - and she's the blueprint. She's what they need to become." Dad said he snaps and points at Clara "When the snow melted last night, did the pond?" Dad asked her.

"No." Clara said.

"Living ice that will never melt. If the snow gets hold of that creature on the stairs, it will learn to make more of them. It will build an army of ice. And it will be the last day of humanity on this planet." Dad explains the doorbell rings Dad cracks his neck "Stay here." Dad said after a slight pause, Clara follows I go to as well but Jenny stops me I sigh.

We stayed in the study while Dad and Clara were no doubt causing trouble suddenly a thud was heard "What was that?" Vastra asked I ran from Jenny's arms and towards the window placing my hands on the glass I see Clara lying in the snow surrounded by Snowmen I gasp as I look up at the sky "It's Clara." I say looking back everyone.

Vastra and Jenny look out the window Vastra looks at a handheld device.

"Dear God." Latimer said he comes to the window "Oh, dear God, where did she fall from?" Latimer asked Vastra's device reads "No Life Signs Detected"

"We have to get her inside." Latimer said and heads for the door.

"Those things will kill you!" Vastra said.

"She's hurt." Latimer said.

"She's dead." Vastra said I look at her and that stun my heart Clara reminded me of my mum the brown hair the big brown eyes I sat on a chair Latimer stops at the door and looks back at Vastra as her and Jenny then look outside we then hear the TARDIS.

"What is that? What is happening?!" Latimer asked

"He's bringing her in." I whisper.

Clara is lying on a table as Strax scans her with Vastra device above the table floats a pulsing red light of energy Latimer stands at the opposite side of the table from Strax. Jenny stands back against the wall with me at her side Vastra is standing behind Strax.
