I'm sorry in Advance if there is any misspelled words or grammar mistakes, I'll fix them when I get the chance to.

*~*~*

Valentines... never liked it. Never will. It's so overrated, why does it have to be a day where love is in the air and couples get each other things cause it's a holiday... like why can't they do that some other day where I can't see it.

It's been a year since I 'confessed' my likings towards Jude... and I guess you can say it went well for me. For a few months she never returned the feelings back. But she did eventually.

It's been two months already that we've been dating and let me tell you this. She is amazing.

So here I am.. waiting outside at her driveway with a rose, her favorite chocolate, and a bear in my hands.

I feel like I've gone over board with this.. is this too much? Will she like it? I bet she won't like it... is this even what she wants? I'm ove-

"Hi!" Jude says as she walks out of her house and smiles at me. She quickly but carefully goes down the steps and up to me. Jude scans the stuff I have in my hands and her eyes widen at the things.

"Wow you got that all for me?!" Jude says and looks up at me.

"No I got this for me. Sorry." I say and shrug my shoulders. A small oh escapes her mouth as her shoulders slouch.

"I'm just joking." I say as I hand her the stuff. Jude giggles and grabs ahold of them.

"I feel bad... I didn't get you anything.." Jude says still looking at the stuff.

A small smiles escapes my lips as I look at her. "It's fine, I'm happy with just you alone." I says as I pull her close to me and kisses her forehead. A small blush forms on Jude's cheeks from my actions making me chuckle. "You're too cute."

"Thanks..." she says and moves a strand of hair out of her face and behind her ear.

"So did you ever had the chance to contact your dad?" I ask as we start to walk down the sidewalk towards school. Jude's father left for the navy two years ago and she never really got the chance to talk to him since where he was stationed at didn't get any good receptions. She had wrote letters to him but never got any back.

Jude lets out a soft sigh and looks forwards. "No I didn't." Jude says softly. I notice how her mood changed so quickly and I felt bad to bring up the topic. I put an arm around her shoulder and walked close to her. I lean down and whisper in her ear. "He is going to come back one day... I promise you that..."

Jude slowly nods her head as I lift my head back up and forwards. "So... what are you doing after school?" I ask trying to change the subject.

"I'm going to see some cousins out of town for a few days so I want be able to hang out with you." Jude says and looks at me with an apologetic look. I nod my head and clear my throat. "Oh that sounds cool, but don't leave me alone too lone. Text me and call me." I say and smiles softly.

"Gotcha." Jude says and leans her head against my shoulder as we walk.

"Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah, Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Day." Jude starts to sing softly to herself.

"My oh my it's a wonderful day... plenty of sunshine everyday...." I sing after her in a low tone. Jude lets out a laugh.

"What's so funny?" I ask and quirk an eyebrow at her.

"Oh nothing, I like your singing." Jude says.

"I don't think liking my singing should make you laugh... but I guess I'll take that as a compliment then..." I say and shrug my shoulders.

"It was a compliment you dummy." Jude says and lifts her head up from my shoulder and kisses my cheek.

Man... I've fallen for her hard...
