My heart dropped when Dad, Papa, and I heard the news. I didn't know what to do. I silently let tears fall down my face, as Dad slowly took it in sitting next to me. Papa still stood looking over her, as she lay in the hospital bed.All my life I had tried to make her the best person she could be. I protected her from the harsh words of others, but she did know that they existed. I have always strived to make her a better person then me. I keep her from making mistakes I have made, but she is also able to learn on her own.

And the one time I slip up. I let her leave my sight, and I don't pay attention. She gets shot. More tears streamed down my face as I looked back over to my sister.I watched over Skye I walked over to her side I held her hand. "You are the smartest girl I have ever known and just hang in there for us you were the bestest girl and the wisest so just do this for us just stop this just do one thing for me Skye don't.be.dead.

I squeezed her hand and sat back down with my family. Then we heard rustling in the bed and the movements of waking up.Dad and I quickly got up from our chairs, moving over to her bedside. "Skye?" I ask in almost a whisper. My throat not wanting to be clear after the tears I had shed. The blonde let out a moan and moved more, and her eyes slowly opened before fluttering shut in the strong lighting.

I started to open my eyes and I saw dad and Mia. Light burns, eyes, hurt are the words I got out so I closed my eyes to shut out the harsh light.A small smile grew on Dad's face and soon Papa and I had grins too. "Keep them closed, we can dim the lights if you want." Papa told Skye as he stood from his chair.I could hear the smile in their voices so I did as they said and kept my eyes shut that'd be nice to dim the lights.Papa turned off the main lights but the monitors and various things kept the room lit low. "Try now." Dad says as we pull all of our chairs by her bed. We now all sat around her, our eyes fixed on our family member.

I saw through my eyelids that the lights turned off I opened my eyes and sat up. I cursed because of the pain in my side I opened my eyes wide and looked at my family members and smiled. Hi I said."Hey." Dad said with a smile. And Papa could not lose his grin either, who am I kidding we must have been smiling like fools. "Glad your back." Papa says squeezing her hand. "Yeah." I said quietly.

Uh thanks I think I was dead for about 5 minutes and then I heard papa's words and my body I think sort of restarted itself."Hey look on the bright side sis, no school for you." I told her cheerily. Dad smirked and even Papa chuckled a tiny bit.I laughed at the bad joke, Uh are we allowed to go home yet? Cause I’ve missed Baker Street.

"You will be staying here for tonight and tomorrow. Then you can possibly think, about going home." Papa told her. "But you have school tomorrow." He suddenly said turning to look at me. "Oh come on! Skye’s in the hospital, do I really have to go?" I ask whining a bit. "Yes. But you can see her right after." Papa says sternly.UGH!! What if I get bored! I don’t like Hospitals.

"Sherlock and I can switch keeping you company." Papa told her. "But you need to go to bed for school miss." He told me sternly. I gave Skye a hug goodbye and Dad led me out to a cab, we got in and sat in silence. He was obviously thinking about things. We got to Baker Street and walked into 221B to find Mrs. Hudson cleaning in the kitchen. "You all were out late so I thought I'd tidy up a bit." She said. "Thanks." I told her with a small smile. I then turned to Dad "Do I seriously have to?" I whined giving him puppy eyes. "Bed." He said and I let out a sigh going to my room and laying on the fluffy comforter, not bothering to slide in underneath.
