My Other Half

In the nation of Moitié, the country of love, the government watches your every move, up until you're sixteen. On March 15th of every year, all of the 16 year olds are forced to the Capitol for their markings. Since the government had watched your every move for sixteen years, they know a lot about you. On Marking Day, you are given half of a symbol. A star, a heart, a circle, anything that's not already taken. The Capitol chooses who's personality fits together with yours best, and you both are given half of the same symbol. When you and your true love finally meet, your markings show that you are meant to be. The problem is, Eleanor Haines doesn't want to fall in love. She doesn't want to meet her true love. She doesn't need love to be happy. She is perfectly fine without anyone else's help. But what will happen when Eleanor and her "true love" finally meet? Will she take back her thoughts about love? Or will she agree with them even more?
