Chapter 2
Kats POV
"Here." Zayn said handing me a cup of hot cocoa. I took it and warmed my hands. It smelled soo good, I could literally drink this all day.
"Thanks Zayn." I said.
"No problem love. So what's wrong?" He said. I was sitting on his couch at his house. He was my next door neighbor so it wasn't that far of a walk.
"I don't know." I said.
"Well your not acting the same at all." ...He said taking a sip of his own drink. "Is it boy problems?" He smiled.
I almost choked on my own hot cocoa. I began to laugh because it was pretty obvious I was caught off guard.
"Yeah, I guess you could say that." I said. "It's just that Harry asked me to go to the dance and I already said yes to Niall."
"Woah, I thought Harry was just your best friend?"
"That's what I thought too." I said.
Zayns POV
I couldn't let any boys hurt her. I'm her brothers best friend, so she's practically my little sister.
"Well, I'm always here if you need help." I said.
She smiled. "Thanks, I just have to think about it, I don't know, get my mind off of it." She got up and gave me a hug.
"Gotta go do homework." She said and grabbed her bag.
"Ok see you later." I said. She walked out the door and headed to her house.
Kat's POV
I was in my room doing homework when my phone rang. It was Niall.
I picked up the phone.
"Hey."
"Hey love, how's it going?" He said with a sexy voice.
I smiled. "Oh nothing, just doing homework, same as usual."
"Well, can you stop for a minute and look out your window?"
I got up and moved the blinds. Niall was in my yard with flowers in his hand.
Oh god oh god.
I opened the door and stepped out onto the balcony.
"Niall, what are you doing here?!" I said.
"I just had to see you." He said. "Come on, its only 7:30, let me take you out." He said wiggling his eye brows.
I smiled and rolled my eyes. "Ok meet me down the street, I'll be there soon. I just have to sneak out."
He blew and kiss and headed off towards the end of the street.
I quickly put some makeup and put on some jeans and a jacket.
Then I headed down stairs. But El was on the couch.
"Hey pumpkin." She said.
I quickly ran down the stairs to Eleanor.
"Where's Louis?"
"In the bathroom. What's up?" She said.
"Well Niall wants me to go out with him tonight and you cant tell Louis or Liam ok? Its a school night and they wouldn't let me go."
"Don't worry love, I'll keep it between me." She said and winked. I smiled and gave her a hug.
"Have fun boo." She said. I smiled went out of the front door and quickly headed for the street before Louis came back.
