Kats POV
"Yes, what is it Louis?" I tried to ask casually, walking over to him and El.
"Why aren't you upstairs?" He asked. Eleanor just stayed quiet on the couch. I glanced over to her.
"You know Lou she was probably just getting up to get a glass of water." She said.
"Yeah, I got thirsty..."
"So you dolled yourself up just to get a glass of water?" Louis asked. I could feel his eyes darting into my soul. I tried to look him in the eye, but I couldn't.
"Well alright then. Just go upstairs and study." He said. Then he went back to the movie. I thought I was dead meat there. I started to make my way upstairs when Liam came through the front door.
"There you are Kat. I thought I just saw you run across Zayns lawn...." Liam said.
"No no, I was just up stairs studying." I said.
"Kat, I swear to god if your lying..." Louis started.
"No, im not." I started. Then my phone went off.
Liam jumped at me and tried to grab my phone. I wrestled him to the ground, but he was too strong. He sat on me and opened the text.
"Well if you weren't out then how come Neil said he had a great time tonight?" Liam said.
Now I was frustrated.
"His name is Niall and...and....he's my boyfriend."
I swear to god the whole country could hear Liam and Louis jaws drop.
Eleanor got up and headed for the door.
"Its getting late, I think I should start heading home. Bye Liam and Kat." She waved and quickly headed out of the door.
"Babe wait, you don't have to leave." Louis ran towards Eleanor, but she was already in the car. I heard the car roar to live and drive down the street.
Liam and Louis turned their heads back to me. Liam got up and helped me stand up. Tears began to fill my eyes.
"did I hurt you? is anything broken?" Liam asked.
"Only my heart." I said without looking at them. I pushed Liam out of my way and headed to my room, I got up and slammed the door.
Liam's POV
Louis and I sat on the couch.
"Do you want to talk to her?" I asked Louis.
"Nah, your better at this kind of stuff." He said.
"Alright." I got up and headed towards her room. I put my hand on the handle, and I could hear her crying. I knocked with my knuckles on the door.
"Kat, love, please open the door."
"No. go away."
"Please, would you rather have me or Louis talk to you?" I asked.
She was silent. I got her good on that one. I heard her foot steps and she unlocked the door. She ran back to her bed and jumped, her face and stomach on the sheets. I walked in and closed the door behind me. I walked over there and sat on the edge of the bed.
"Listen, I'm sorry for jumping on you. I just don't want you out of the house at night." I said.
"But I'm 15, I can handle myself." She said, wiping her tears off her face. Mascara or what ever you call it was dripping down her cheeks.
"Um, you got a little make up on..your.. face."
She gave me a deadly glare.
"Sorry. Just, me and Louis were talking, and we don't want you hanging out with Neil anymore."
"His name is Niall and he's perfect!!" She shouted. Then she buried her face in her blankets.
I rubbed my hand on her back to try and calm her down.
"Well, we don't know that. Heck, we haven't even met the guy..."
"I can date whoever I want and you cant tell me who I can and cant." She said sniffling.
"Well Louis and I actually can, since we are technically your legal guardians."
"Oh would you stop with this legal guardian thing! Ever since mom and dad died, you guys think you can boss me around!"
"We are just trying to protect you! If we didn't take you in you would have to go to a foster home, and we couldn't do that to you!" Now I was raising my voice.
Louis walked in and sat down next to me.
"Listen love, you cant date anymore people. case closed." Louis said.
It looked like Kats eyes were about to bug out of her head.
"Niall isn't like my other boyfriends, he treats me right and makes me happy!" She said.
"Well your last boyfriend pretty much kidnapped you and tried to take you away, do you want that to happen again!" Louis was now screaming at her.
I placed my hand on his shoulder. "Dude calm down, no need to yell." I said.
"Shut up Liam! Your acting just like mom!" Louis said.
"Well you know what?! This whole family is falling apart! I cant handle the stress of working all day long to try and make a living, while you practically babysit Kat!" I said. My head was hurting. "I'm going to go take an asprin." I left the room. It was silent after I said that.
Kats POV
It was just me an Louis left in my room. I was crying and sniffling still.
"I think you should go." I said to Louis.
"Alright, see you in the morning." He said. He tried to kiss my head but I shifted my head, rejecting it. He looked at me for a moment, then left, closing the door behind him.
I turned on my side and shut the light off, tonight is not going to be a peaceful sleep.
