MOLLY POV
Today's the day, I thought to myself as I looked at the terminal gate. Time to leave.
I looked back at Jacob, who had tears welled in his eyes, sad to see me leave. Beside him was Beau and the rest of the Janoskians, feeling the same way. I looked at Jacob with sympathy and gave him one last hug. He wrapped me in his arms in the most comforting way he could have.
"I'm gonna miss you, Little..." he whispered in my ear.
"I'm gonna miss you too..." I responded. "But I'll be back this summer, no matter what happens." He pulled apart and looked at me with a smile and red eyes. He knew what I was trying to say; that even if Beau and I didn't work out, I would still return to see him.
"Everything will be okay," he reassured, calming my doubts that were not even there. "You two are meant for eachother." With that I smiled warmly at him and a tear rolled down my cheek.
"Thanks.." I answered, and he took my cheeks in his hands and kissed my forehead. He stepped back and Beau followed, placing his fingers on my chin.
In his eyes I could see how torn he was. Neither of us expected to fall in love so intensly. This was not planned, but it was spontanious and beautiful. I smiled at him, trying to get at least a grin off his grim face. He gave me a pathetic excuse of smile.
"Come on..." I said as I gently pushed him to where he would come back on the balls of his feet like a bobo doll. "Get happy. The sooner I leave the sooner I'll be coming back..." I spoke softly to him, feeling that this was our personal conversation, and every moment was to be shared with just us both.
"I don't want to see you go..." he confessed as he pushed a tuft of hair out of my eyes. He let the hand rest on my cheek, and I pushed my lips out, asking for a kiss.
He obeyed, and pecked my lips with his. When he parted, he placed his forehead on mine, and we swayed together, trying to stay touching as long as possible. So long as we were touching, we wouldn't be apart, and that was the last thing we both wanted.
"I don't want to leave you, Beau..." I told him. I looked in his stunning green eyes and thought back to when I didn't know his name, when I called him "the green-eyed Janoskian". I giggled to myself at this memory and he looked at me strange.
"I just remembered something funny...that's all..." I answered.
"What was it?" he was dying for some humor in the depressing scene.
I smiled at him as I spoke. "Before I knew your name, I would refer to you in my mind as 'the green-eyed' Janoskian. I thought of that when I was looking in your eyes just then."
He smiled back, finally amused by something on this sad night.
"So you're saying that after all this time, you had a precious nickname for me, and you never told me?" he asked sweetly.
I had a puzzled look on my face, not knowing exactly what he meant. "What do you mean?"
"Well," he started. "I call you Wildflower because of the flowers you brought me while I was in the hospital, and you never told me you called me green-eyes!" he reasoned. I smiled at him, never knowing he wanted a cute pet name.
"You never told me you wanted a pet name!" I told him.
"Well, it's not like you can request them...they just kind of happen..." he asked blushing and looking down at his feet.
"Do you want me to call you green eyes?" I asked with a smile. I loved the nickname.
"If you wanted to," he answered, trying to remain suave.
