It was almost sun high. CreekStep had eaten a fat mouse that would hopefully hold her over. She headed into the forest to make sure no hunting patrols or border patrols were out. She opened her jaws to scent a old patrol from early that morning. Other than that there were no cats.
She ran toward the RiverClan border. As she reached the oak she didn't see just FireGlaze. She saw other cats pinning him down. She pounced on the cats fighting fiercely to make them let him go. FireGlaze struggled to get up. He managed to get up and fight with her. "So you have betrayed your clan huh!" A black cat snarled at him. "I have done it for the rights of my clan!" He spat back to the cat. " Good luck with your little FRIEND!" He hissed jumping at FireGlaze. FireGlaze stepped out of the way watching the helpless black cat to fall on his face.
At last the two cats had scared the others off. The two touched noses for success and headed to the river. They reached the river and got a drink of the fresh, cold water. The two talked awhile about to where they were going to head to. FireGlaze could tell CreekStep was happy and CreekStep could tell that FireGlaze was happy to.
"Should we leave today?" He asked worriedly.
"I don't know. Your clan might attack my clan if they think I stole you. We could but I want to tell my kin by. I guess I can another day..." She replied.
"Okay! We're will we go? Across the thunderpath?" He asked like a small kit.
"Were else?" She asked happily and ran ahead towards the thunderpath getting her paws a little wet with FireGlaze following.
