"What's done in the dark often comes to the light." -Unknown

“Um why what did I do?” I asked him confused.

“Nothing, you haven’t done anything wrong. It’s just…..” He just looked…puzzled.

“It’s just what?” I asked. This man is so confusing its crazy I thought to myself.

“I wanted to speak to you about being a T.A for me. I know we barely know each other but you seem more advanced than the rest of your classmates. Plus you could get some extra credits for it and you are one of the few students that are qualified to graduate early. Just think about it for me okay?”

He looked somewhat hopeful and for some reason I just couldn’t say no. He was actually cu- wait why in the world am I checking out my teacher.

“Sure I’ll do it.” I was ready to walk away when he stopped me once more. What does he need now?

“Um…about last night, I didn’t want to creep you out or anything. I know it’s weird to see or talk to your teacher out of school and all, but how do you know Tori and the guys?” He questioned.

“Long story but why do you need to know. I mean no offense but why do you care anyway?”

“It’s just because they’re so much older than you and you’re so young.”

“Like I said it’s really none of your business, but I have to get home Mr. Ellis or should I say Chace.” I said speed walking out of the class room.

I know I shouldn’t have been so mean to him but I’ve always been this way. I’m very closed off and secluded. Plus I barely know this guy and he’s asking all of these questions about me and my friends and how we met. Why does he care anyway?

I made my way into my kitchen to make myself some passion tea. It’s great stuff, if you’ve never tasted it before you are truly missing out. I dialed Laith’s number and he picked up after a couple of rings.

“I knew you’d fall for me one day.” I could tell he was smirking even though I couldn’t see him

“No not at all prince charming. I was actually calling to see what you were doing. I’m bored and trapped in the house, there’s nothing to do here.” I groaned

“Dang, how you just going to diss me like that? But I actually was heading to McDonalds. Being in a class for 2 hours is killing me” He fake cried and laughed it off

One thing about Laith and I was that we were very compatible. There were so many things we have in common its crazy. Laith has always been there for me especially when I need a guy’s advice on certain stuff. I mean it’s good to have female friends too but sometimes you just want to hear a guy’s perspective on things you know? We have never dated if you were wondering he’s just a natural flirt THAT’S ALL.

We decided to go meet up at Starbucks, I just took the bus there since his college isn’t that close to my house.  After a while we sat there having good ol’ conversations as always and just talking about random stuff. We could start a conversation about pizza and just go on and on about it. We’re so weird but that was one of the things I loved about Laith. He was just like me except he was a guy.

“I’m surprised Tori didn’t have much to say last night.” He sighed and drank his coffee.

I was a little confused. “What do you mean?”

“I mean for a couple that dated for almost a year you would’ve thought they would have more to say to one another.”

“Y-You mean Mr. Ellis and Tori dated?” I asked almost choking on my coffee

“Yeah, I’m surprised she didn’t tell you. I thought you two were close?” He questioned leaning back in his chair.

“Yeah, I thought we were close too.”

Just a small chapter but I will be updating a longer one ASAP. Don't forget to comment and vote.
