“Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around. You tell them things that you’ve never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more.” –Bob Marley
After that conversation with Laith the other day, I started to look at Tori differently. She seemed, well, different. She wasn’t as happy anymore and seemed more closed off than before. Even though we are friends, we don’t really keep secrets because we’re both so blunt. But there seems to be this question constantly lingering in my mind, what was Tori hiding?
Even though I’m in class it’s kind of hard to pay attention with so much going on in my mind. I know I shouldn’t be looking into it so much but what would you do if you were in my shoes. As class ended as always Mr. Ellis locks the door and we talk about tomorrow’s lesson. I don’t know why but there’s something about him that I just like. He’s not like other teachers I’ve had let alone other guys. He’s very….different. He grabs a chair and sits next to me, a little too close but for some reason I don’t mind. I start to actually take in his features he has broad shoulders, intriguing dark blue eyes, and a muscular build. Not too muscular but just right. He has perfect teeth with dark brown hair that always messy at times. He looks over the notes I took during class and smiles to him-self.
“Wow” He say’s
“What?” I ask confused.
“Nothing, don’t trip” He laughs and puts the notes down looking me over.
“Oh my gosh just tell me?” I say frustrated.
“I can’t say Ms. Amelia” He walks over to the classroom closet grabbing some clip boards out.
“STOP BEATING AROUND THE BUSH AND JUST TELL ME” I hate when people bring up subjects or say stuff but decide to keep it to themselves. I block him from leaving the closet.
He looks me in my eyes and his face gets this very serious look on it. He sighs, rubs his fingers through his hair then looks me in the eyes.
“I was going to say your eyes are beautiful but I decided to take it back because it seemed inappropriate for a teacher to say to their student.” He say’s nervously
“There’s nothing beautiful about my eyes. They’re brown just like most of the people in this world.” I say sadly.
For some reason I hate having something that everyone else has. Even as a child I would always stand out from the class because things just felt boring when everyone looked the same or sad some of the same stuff.
“Who told you that?” He asks furiously.
