Long as fucking chapter that took me over two days to write because I can't focus for shit. ~Mae

I tossed and turned on the mattress, finding it utterly impossible to fall asleep. There's really no point in trying to fall asleep when I know perfectly well that it won't happen. Drops of rain slapping against concrete sounded from the window of my bedroom, waking me up more than before. My fingers gripped on the sheets, throwing them off my half naked body.
Sighing heavily, I walked out of my bedroom and into the living room. A stack of papers sitting in front of my door caught my attention. Walking towards the envelopes, I picked the four of them up, my body immediately tensing once I saw who they were from- tax collectors. One of them was even three days old, making me realize how deep in I really was. I haven't been out of my room in a few days, making the only exception getting food and using the restroom. After the guys left me, I didn't really see any point in going anywhere so I decided on just staying in bed for a few days.
I haven't even opened this envelope yet, but I already know that it can't be anything good. Seriously, who the hell expects good news when they see a letter from a tax collector? No one I've ever met and doubt I ever will. I shook away all the negative thoughts as I ripped open the envelope, letting it drop to the floor while I unfolded the white sheet of paper.
'Liliana White,
Due to the lack of payments given to the bank, you leave us with no other choice but to foreclose your home. You have twenty two days to either pay the money you owe, or pack your items and move out. If you choose to not do either of these things, we will force the authorities to run you out of your home at the spot and will sell any items left behind. If you have any questions, please call the number below, or visit our office for more information. Thank you.' Great. Another fucking problem to add to the list.
Sighing, I crumpled the paper into a ball, tossing it behind me as I walked into the living room. I doubt I'll be able to find another decent place to live in the next twenty two days. That leaves me with the only other option left- round together all the money that I owe the bank. That also means that I have no choice but to sell some of my things and get another job.
Opening my laptop, I quickly logged in and immediately typed in 'Ebay' on the search engine. Yard sales aren't very big here, no one wants to sit around in their yard all day, waiting for someone to come by and at least buy something for a dollar. Selling some of my things online seems like the easiest resort. It has much more of a payoff than a fucking useless yard sale.
While the browser was loading, I thought about what I could possibly sell that people might consider buying. I guess I could sell the photography camera I had tucked neatly in my bedroom. I also have a few jewelry items and clothing that seem to do nothing but take up space in my closet and dresser. Shoes are definitely another item that I can sell. Seriously, who needs more than two pairs of shoes, right? I definitely don't, and considering the circumstances that I'm in, one pair is really all I need.
Jumping up from the couch, I hurried into my bedroom and quickly grabbed a handful of items that I was willing to sell- mostly jewelry and dresses. I also made sure to grab my photography camera before carrying all the items back into the living room. I set them all down on the coffee table, taking a neat picture of each item before plugging the camera's usb into my laptop. I gave a brief description of each item, making sure to only put detail into what was needed. I set the amount the person would have to pay to a reasonable price. Most of the stuff wasn't old, but it definitely wasn't used. After all, people on Ebay can't be too picky of what they choose.
