An Absurd Start

My parents have talked about Dauntless, and how they admire their fighting skills. It was a hard choice though. Anyway. I've made it.

All of the new Dauntless initiates- we are not members yet, have to complete our initiation. If we pass then we are let in and taken onto a train and covered in graffiti art. I met some of the transfer initiates. Of course, there was Christina, who, like me, has transferred from Candor to Dauntless. There was Will from Erudite, and Beatrice from Abnegation. What's a Stiff doing here? I reckon I can definitely knock her out in training fights. I'll definitely make her get pushed out from the Dauntless list. I will make sure that she doesn't pass initiation and will become factionless. She has no hope of staying here in Dauntless.

Our first task seems really absurd. We have to jump off a train. A moving train at that. Our trainers for the rest of our Dauntless life are going to observe us. One is called Eri. He has this cruel look about him. The other trainer is called Four. He looks like he's been in a fight as he is somewhat scarred. It's fair to say that underneath the scars lays a handsome face.

Jumping off the train was a daring task. The wind was blowing hard and nearly blew off my black and white shirt and forced my short hair to dangle about wildy. I let out a long shriek, that ended long after I had landed face down on the hard concrete. Blood was streaming out of my eyebrow.

Someone came towards me.
