“Come on!” Benny shouted at her as the vamps closed in on them. Cursing under her breath, Becky pulled her foot out from the ditch and ran. With her legs pumping as fast as she can, she could still hear the footsteps of the vamp getting closer. “Duck!”

Without hesitation, Becky dropped to the ground like stone as something flew past her head and into the monster behind her. Benny grabbed her arm and pulled her up roughly, “Thanks.” She huffed and they ran towards the blue portal.

The portal was opening now, sensing Becky and wanting to throw her out. Becky climbed up the small cliff, “Thanks Benny.” After several days of walking, though they ran half the time, Becky came to trust Benny. He saved her ass more than she could keep track. “Are you sure you’re not coming?”

During their little walk, Benny had told her of his relationship to the Winchester. Becky was shocked to hear that Dean was the one who was blood brothers with Benny. With the impression she got from Dean, she thought he killed every monster he met, no exceptions. She discovered that this wasn’t true, and Sam actually more grudges against the monsters.

Benny shook his head, “I’m no good out there. Hunger’s a real bitch. You move along now, I’ll keep an eye out for your friend.” It was nice to know that Dean was doing well, he wanted to see his blood brother but that was being selfish. Besides, Benny felt more free here. Free of the hunger, free of the pain. Ironically, even with all the monsters, Purgatory still felt pure.

Leaves fell to the ground and a branch snapped making Benny turn around sharply. “Go now!” He jumped down to face the vamps who were continuously chasing them. “What'cha waiting for?” Benny growled at the vamps circling them.

That was the last thing Becky saw.

When she woke up, the air was chilly and it was quiet. Too quiet for her liking. Becky sat up, she was still surrounded by a whole bunch of trees. Am I still in Purgatory? Taking in her surrounding, she realized there was no monstrous sounds but sounds of birds chirping. There was no hidden shadows of monsters about to jump her. She was back.

But where in the world was she? Becky didn’t remember any dense forests like this one in England. She walked in no particular direction hoping to find something that could help tell her where she was. After several hours of walking, Becky spotted a road and ran towards it. There was something weird though, cars were trashed along the roads. Some windows were broken like something hit it from the outside. Becky ignored this as her stomach growled angrily for food. Scavenging the cars, she found one full of water and canned foods.

Jackpot! Becky grabbed a bag and began stuffing the food and water bottles inside. She ripped open a granola bar and chewed on it while sitting on the trunk of red Chevy Impala. This reminded Becky of the Winchesters. As she smiled at the thought, she realized something was off about the roads. All the cars were on the right side of the road instead of the left. What the hell?

Seeing a sign on the ground few feet away, Becky jumped off and walked towards it. “Maine?” She scrunched up her face, wasn’t Maine a state in the United States? Wait… No fucking way! Becky’s mouth dropped as she looked at all the clues. She was in the United States of America!

The other thing that shocked her more was how long she was gone. Three months. THREE MONTHS!!! Becky panicked, Greg must have been horrified. She checked inside the abandoned cars for a phone or anything she could possibly contact someone with. Finding nothing, Becky got in a car with the keys still inside.

Becky felt something under the seat and felt for it, pulling out a 9-mm pistol. Checking the gun for ammo, she smiled when it was fully loaded. She fired up the ignition and drove around all the cars hoping to find some kind of town.
