The Past Of June Darby

Seven

June walked into the forest, searching for her friend. Her stuffed bear in one hand and the walkie talkie in the other. She was determined to find her best friend. 

SilverBolt sighed. Energon seemed scarce on this planet. It she didn't find any, and soon, she'd go into a stasis coma. Silver took out her swords when she heard something in the woods. She activated her battle mask, which looked very similar to that of her father's, and prepared to fight.

When June emerged from the forest, Silver deactivated her swords and retracted her battle mask.

"June, what are you doing so far from General Bryce?", Silver asked and bullets flew by her helm, "Decepticons! June, stay in here."

Silver put June in her chassis and prepared for battle. With her battle mask activated, she called for her swords. Inside her chassis, June stared in wonder at a blue orb. It was so bright, June had to shield her eyes. June smiled as little bright strings danced around her.

SilverBolt dogged Decepticons left and right, hitting a few with her blaster. June was being strangely quiet for a one year old..... June giggled as the bright strings wrapped around her in a tight embrace. She felt like she was being hugged.

The bright strings retreated back to the orb as Silver opened her chassis for June to climb out. If her father ever heard of her doing this, he'd be both happy and upset. No one other than your mate is allowed to see your spark and she just let a human see her most prized possession.

Silver transformed and felt oddly happy. She passed it off as if it were nothing and fizzled a car seat into the back for June. June happily climbed in and Silver buckled her seat belt.

June smiled and jumped out of bed. It's her first day of school and Silver was going to introduce herself to June's father. June opened her closet and pulled out a blue t-shirt and black jeans. Once she changed, she ran carefully down the steps of her home and heard thudding behind her. 

She reached the bottom and turned around to see her three favorite dogs. June walked into the kitchen and fed her dogs before washing her hands and sitting down at the table for breakfast.

"Hey kiddo. Ready for your first day of school?", Jayson asked.

"Yup. Hey, can my friend drive me to school so I don't have to take the bus?", June asked.

"Friend? Drive? What'd I miss?", Jayson asked asked, feeling completely lost.

After breakfast, June and her father went for a drive since school didn't start for another hour. 

"Daddy, can we go into the desert? I want to show you something.", June asked, Jayson nodded.

When they arrived, the two humans got out of Silver's alt mode. Once they were far enough away, SilverBolt transformed. Jayson watched in shock and amazement.

"Hello, I'm June's friend, SilverBolt.", Silver introduced herself.

"I'm Jayson.", June's father said, still shocked.

"I've known June since she lived with General Bryce at the age of 1. I've kept her safe and out of danger.", Silver smiled at Jayson.

"Thank you.", Jayson answered, having got over his shock.

"It's almost time for school, June. If we leave now, you'll make it.", Silver transformed and opened her doors.
