June POV

Eleven years has passed since Silver and I last spoke. Jack is in the fifth grade now and going into middle school soon. He's growing up too fast. Everything seems to be going by too fast. The other day, something landed in the desert. I didn't go to investigate and I don't plan on going. I have a son to take care of.

One thing I know for sure is that whatever dropped into the desert, wasn't SilverBolt. Every year, Jack get's something for his birthday from Silver and he enjoys it. When he stops playing with whatever he got or grows out of it, he sets the items on a shelf in his room full of his prized possessions.

"Mom, I'm going to school. Two more weeks until I am out of Elementary school. I can't wait for Middle school and then High school. I'm going to be an engineer.", Jack said excitedly as he got his shoes on.

"Your Aunt would be proud.", I smiled.

"When is Aunt Stacy coming home?", Jack asked and swung his backpack onto his back.

"I don't know, sweetie. I don't know.", I answered and watched as Jack left on his bike, "Be careful! Watch out for cars! And don't talk to strangers!"

"Mom, this is Jasper! Nothing is going to happen.", Jack called out, I sighed and grabbed my bag full of stuff.

I walked out to my car and put the necklace I got for my 30th birthday on. The necklace had the Autobot symbol and Silver's name engraved into the back. She had made it before she left and kept it hidden. She always did like having a plan before hand....

I pulled into the employee parking lot and parked my car. I've been working here for nine years now and I plan to stay until I need to retire.

"Nurse Darby! You're here! Thank god. We need all the help we can get.", a doctor said and brought me into a room where several patients were unconscious.

"What happened?", I asked.

"A crash. A bus full of schoolkids and an armored car. The kids are all high school age, one or two middle school and elementary age. Jack jumped on the bus and saved most of the kids. These are the survivors.", I walked in and seen most of the kids with cuts and bruises, "Your son is a hero, Nurse Darby. The younger kids are awake and refuse to do anything unless their savior is with them."

"What about Jack?", I looked toward the doctor, "Is he alright?"

"He's fine other than a few cuts and a big bump on his head. We have him here since he got a concussion from the impact he received. One of the other doctors took the liberty of calling him in. We don't want him to go to school for another four days just to be safe.", he smiled, "He saved my daughter. I want to thank you. Jack is one of a kind."

"I'll take care of them, Doctor Weaver.", I smiled back at him and he left though came back in after a second.

"I do have one question though. Where did he get his bravery?", Doctor Weaver asked.

"His Aunt.", I answered and waved when he left for the second time.

Here at the clinic, we are all good friends. Everybody knows everybody. I walked over to Emily, Doctor Weaver's daughter, and examined her for any signs of internal bleeding. I continued on with the other kids and noticed something in one of the high school kids. I called one of the surgeons.

"What is it, Nurse Darby?", Doctor White asked.

"This one is pregnant. The baby may be in danger.", I said, "She has internal bleeding."

"I'll bring her down for surgery right away. You sure know your stuff, Nurse Darby.", Doctor White said and had nurses bring the patient to a surgery room, "How are the others?"

"Everyone else is good.", I smiled as I thought of Jack saving the kids.

"Could you inform Martha's parents? They are at the front desk yelling at Nurse Bowlee to let them see Martha.", Doctor White asked.

"I can.", we left the room and headed in separate directions, "Excuse me, are you Martha Bare's parents?"

"We are. Are you here to escort us to her?", Mr. Bare asked, "We haven't seen her in months."

"I'm sorry but she's in surgery right now. Are you two aware she is pregnant?", I asked.

"She's pregnant?! Our baby girl is pregnant?", Ms. Bare asked, I nodded.

"Doctor White will be out with in the next hour or two to bring you to her. She should be out of surgery by then.", I said.

"Why is she in surgery, exactly?", Mr. Bare asked.

"She has internal bleeding which means the baby is at risk. They are going to stop the bleeding first and then Martha is going to need to have a c-section.", I answered, "Don't worry though, we have our top surgeon working on her."

"I heard your son saved her. Could we see him so we can thank him in person?", Ms. Bare looked up at me, I nodded and brought them to Jack who apparently had a lot of visitors already, "Thank you for saving Martha. It means a lot to us that she is alive."

Jack smiled as everyone thanked him. I couldn't help but laugh at all the attention he's getting. My son, Jack Darby, a hero. Not many people are going to forget this day....
