Chapter Eleven ** Tell The World I'm Yours

Seunghee opens her door and what greets her is the fuming face of Chaeyeon and a very hard slap on the face.

"That's for stealing oppa from me," she blurts out, and right after, tears flow down her face.

Seunghee wants to slap her back but seeing her break down infront of her, she holds herself back. She knows how painful it is for her, the same way for her.

"I love oppa. But you... You appeared and you stole him just like that. I'm never gonna forgive you." Chaeyeon continues crying helplessly infront of her and it seems like she doesn't plan on hitting her again. It seems like she's accepted the truth and she just wants to confront her to get rid of the pain and finally start moving on.

"Chaeyeon-ssi, first of all, I didn't steal him from you. But I love him too. And because he chose me, I'll do everything to return his love. It's not every day I find someone I feel like I belong to. And I'm just fighting for it."

Chaeyeon stares at her in her tears and she understands. That this girl infront of her loves him even more than she does. Maybe she's just too infatuated with him. But the feeling Seunghee is giving her is diverse. She's sure to spend her life with him, even if they've only met for a short while.

"I hope you'll not end up like me."

"I won't. I'm sure of it."

Chaeyeon wipes her tears then and bitterly leaves without another word. She lost. There's no room for her in their lives. She better not dwell on things that will only hurt her. He wanted to be free so she'll set him free.

Seunghee heaves a deep sigh after Chaeyeon has gone. How did she find her place? She thought. And then she touches the cheek, that is now reddish and a bit swollen. She knows she deserves this at least once so she didn't hit her back. If it were her, maybe she has done the same thing, if it happens to her now with Jeonghan.

Suddenly, the man of her dreams suddenly appears infront of her. It feels like all the pain and suffering vanished. It's the first time again they see each other after their breakups. And it's the first day, they can go out in the open.

"Hey, are you alright? I heard Chaeyeon was on her way here," he sounds worried.

"Jeonghan..." she mumbles.

"Your face-"

She cuts him by giving him a tight embrace. "I'm just glad you're here now."

He feels the same and he tells her, "I'm never going anywhere. From now on, I will always be here. We'll always be together."

"Hm." She just nods onto his shoulder.

For the very first time, they walk the streets together. It feels great to be together this way. They both know it's their fate. And this is their destiny.

But someone has been watching them from a distance since they walked out to the street. And once they're at the park without much crowd, he walks out in the open facing them.

"Yuta.." Seunghee murmurs.

Jeonghan sees him too and he only motions to protect Seunghee. But Yuta only has his eyes on him. He angrily flies in with a blow.

"You son of a %*#$%!!" Yuta draws in with a full punch, hitting Jeonghan on the face.

"Yuta! Stop this! Stop it!" Seunghee screams at the side, tugging at Jeonghan.

Jeonghan decides to fight back. He returns the blow in his stomach and hurts him.

"No! Please! Stop this now you two!" she keeps yelling.

But the two boys get on with their fight. Relieving themselves from the pent-up anger and pain they've acquired these past few days for Yuta and a few months for Jeonghan.

After having enough, both of them are now sitting on the ground. Both with scratches and cuts. Jeonghan even has a bleeding nose. Seunghee runs to his side and tends to his scars.

"Are you alright?" she asks.

Yuta's heart shatters even more. She's too mean to show this to him. She doesn't deserve to be receiving his love.

"You really did cheat on me," Yuta says. "What the hell am I even doing fighting for you?"

She doesn't look at him, but she feels devastated. She can't handle being treated like this when she didn't mean to. Jeonghan is the one who stands up for her.

"It's your fault you let her be stolen cuz you're not good enough."

"I don't need a lecture from a trash like you! You both go to hell!"

"Damn you!"

But Yuta starts walking away then. He can't stand seeing her with him. He loves her. But she chose to be with another man. He still wants to be with her, but he can't even force her. He doesn't want to hurt her. As he goes, he can't help the tears from falling. If someday, she needs him again, he won't think twice in taking her back. But for now, he'll let her go. Because that's what she wants him to. Even if his heart is broken. Even if his heart is torn. And once he's far away from them, he gives her one last quick look before fading away into the crowd.

Seunghee can't help but feel affected. She hasn't been treated so rudely before and it hurts. Jeonghan can see how it painful it is for her so he embraces her for comfort.

"It's alright. Don't think about him."

Tears fall and she keeps on sobbing for a moment. He only keeps her in his arms, assuring her that he will never leave her alone.

She brings him to her apartment to aid him of his cuts and scratches. She's silent all through as she applies some ointment on his face, arms and hands. He watches thoroughly and after sometime, finally breaks the silence.

"Are you okay?" he asks.

She gives him a soft smile and replies, "I should be the one asking you that though. You know, I'm happy. In fact I'm more than just happy that we're together now. It's just that, a part of me feels a little concerned about the fact that we had to hurt some people along the way. I never really wanted to bring people pain. It's just... making me feel so bad."

Tears start falling again and he's crushed. Infront of her, is the girl he loves, suffering because of hurting other people in order to pursue her own happiness. But he stays still and listens to her.

"But then, how can I be with you without having to hurt them?" she adds. "I want to be with you. I want to spend my days with you. Not just stolen moments or chance. I want to be able to freely be with you like this. For months, deep inside, my heart and mind were fighting over what's right? But I couldn't find an answer. All I know is that you're all that matters."

"I know. I know exactly how you feel. So please don't dwell on the pain anymore. We're together now and we'll never be apart. Alright?" he says caressing her face and wiping her tears. "Don't cry now."

"I'm sorry. I just had to let it go. I won't live with my life hurting people."

"You know, we never meant to hurt them. It's just an inescapable fact that we had to."

"I know. I'm sorry."

He only sighs at how lovable she is. How pure-hearted she is. He will never find someone like her. She's the only one.

"I love you Seunghee."

She looks up to him upon hearing his words. Her tears stop and she realizes, she will never hear the same words or feel his warmth if she never did what she had to. He's the only one for her.

"I love you Jeonghan."

For the first time as a couple, they share their long been awaited kiss. It's so sweet they knew it's gonna last. And that will be for the rest of their lives.
