I finally had the life that I always wanted, a family with the man I love and the most amazing son that I could ask for. Luke and I had a beautiful baby boy about a year and a half ago and he was the reasons for our smiles. Every since I have had him I haven’t had a bad day, I love everything that I do because its to make his life better. I was a stay at home mom while Luke did the band with his family, which I didn’t mind because he was doing something he loved. I knew me and Joshua would be able to go on tour with them once they went on tour, but for now Joshua and myself would just have days alone while Luke was at the studio. “Mommy” Josh said. “Yes, baby, ” I said as picked him up. “Where daddy?” he asked. “He’s working” I said. “He comes home?” he asked. “Of course, ” I said. “I hungry, ” he said. “I’m making your lunch now, ” I said. He smiled as I put him in his high chair, I gave him his lunch and sat down and ate with him. We would always have a Mommy and Josh day while daddy was at work. That night I put Josh down for bed and this night it seemed different because he kept waking up and I couldn’t figure out why. Finally, Luke came home and by then I had Josh asleep well for now. “Hey Baby” I said. “Hey” Luke said. He pulled me close to him as his arm was around my waist, pushing his lips onto mine. “I missed you, ” I said. “Oh, I missed you, ” he said. “Come on, I know your tired” I said. I grabbed his hand and lead him upstairs so that we could go to bed. “How was Josh?” he asked. “He’s great as always” I said. “Good, ” he said. We got into bed, snuggled up together and fell fast asleep. Josh woke up around 4am and he wasn’t crying so I didn’t hear him, he made his way to our room and peeked in the door. “Mommy?” he said. I was so tired that I didn’t hear him, but Luke heard him. “Joshua?” Luke said. “Daddy” Josh said as he ran over to the bed. Luke picked him up and laid him down on his chest as Joshua was shaking. “What’s wrong?” Luke asked as he rubbed Josh’s back. “Bad dream daddy” Josh said. “Aw it’s ok, I’m here” Luke said. Normally we would have a strict rule of Joshua not sleeping in our bed, but since Luke hadn’t spent that much time with Josh he allowed Josh to sleep in our bed. I didn’t know anything about it till in the morning where I found josh’s cute little feet in my face.
