It seemed like nothing could go right in my life no matter what I did it was never really good enough for anyone. I hated how I always felt like I let someone down even when I knew I didn’t but just their face showed they thought I could do better. It seemed like I was rushing through my life just to get to the end where I die, never really finding myself to be happy. Was I just living my life through everyone else eyes?
Walking down the streets, I could of taken my car but this time I just wanted to be alone and get some fresh air. I wanted to be out of down so I was walking down to the park just to clear my mind. I always thought I was going crazy as if I didn’t know what path to take. I always did everything right well according to everyone else but what was right for me? Sitting in the grass as I overlook the water, the lake was beautiful this time of the year. Pulling my jacket closer to my chest as the cool breeze runs over me. The sun danced over the water and it was so peaceful, no cell phones no interruptions. “My I sit with you?” someone asked. “sure” I said. He sat down beside me and looked towards the water as he tried to figure out what I was doing. The air seemed to catch my hair blowing it in the wind as I turn to look at my new friend. I didnt know him but something about him made me want to get to know him, his eyes were so magical that I could get lost within them. “why is a pretty girl all alone in the park?” he asked. “just wanted to get away” I said. “What’s so crazy that made you run away?” he said. “im not running away just wanted to get away for a bit” I said. “no in your eyes, you want to run away and scream. You have so much pain and hurt behind your eyes” he said. I was shocked at his words it was like he was looking through my eyes and into my soul. He was right maybe I was running but to what? Or to where? It was true I wanted to leave my life just wanting someone to take me from everything. “whatsyour name?” He asked. “well im Angel and you?” I said. “Im Luke” he said. “Nice to meet youluke” I said. “An angel from heaven” he said. “thats so far from true” I said. “but you seem to want to be perfect” he said. “Well I do, well I need to be” I said. “You dont need to be anything but you and if that’s not good enough for people then they shouldn’t be in your life” he said. “but people want so much from me” I said. “people who love you will always support you even if you fail” he said. I looked at him wondering if I had ever met him and I knew that I didn’t but he was so right about everything. “thats true” I said. “Then baby girl don’t be anything but yourself” he said. “thank you” I said. “now will this beautiful angel in front of me go out to dinner with me?” he asked. “i can clear my schedule for that” I said with a smile. “good, Meet back here tonight?” he said. “sure” I said as I got up. I left the park with something that I didnt bring to the park and that was a smile on my face. He was truly perfect but I knew somewhere there would be a catch or someone waking me up from this dream, That night I got dressed and went down to the park, the moon was over the lake and it was beautiful as always. I found Luke under the tree with a picnic set up, I couldnt believe that he had done all of this for me. “wow” I said. “all for you an angel” he said with a smile. “thank you Luke” I said. I sat down next to him as he pulled out some food for us to eat. We ate and looked out to the lake as the scene was just perfect, when will my clock turn 12 and my prince charming leave? So many things running through my mind as he moves closer to me without me knowing. “What you thinking about?” he asked. “just life” I said. “like what?” he said. “Just everything” I said. “Everything is so crazy” he said. I smiled as he was trying to make a joke just to see me smile. “there that smile I was looking for” he said. “really?” I asked. “yea I want to see that smile on your face all the time” he said. “why?” I asked. “Because it’s your best look” he said. “really?” I said as I started to blush. “uh oh blushing I see” he said. I turned my head as my cheeks started to get flushed with pink. He turned on the stereo and got up asking for my hand. I got up and grabbed his hand as he took me down to the lake as we started to dance. “why are you so perfect” I asked. “not perfect just perfect for the right person” he said. I put my arms around his neck as his hands were on my hips swaying us to the music. I laid my head on his shoulder as he pulled me closer to him. I could feel all of the stress and everything just melt away as I was in his arms. “i never want this night to end” I said. “Then don’t let it” he said. I lifted my head and looked into his eyes as our lips moved closer together. I placed my lips onto his as he started the kiss, I ran my hands up and down his neck as the kiss started to get more intense. It was true I didn’t want this night to end so why did it have to? We laid down in the grass and looked up at the stars, counting them seeing if we can see different things. “this is always so peaceful but its more perfect with the right person” he said. “this is truly amazing” I said. “yea it is” he said as I laid my head on his chest. We stayed out in the park all night till the sun started to come up. By that time we were fast asleep in each others arms, we woke up and went back to my apartment where we could spend the day together. I never wanted to be apart from him and I didn’t have to be.
